We did the tour, which was very cool. Lots of information about packaging and how things are done. Just FYI there are several sets of steps involved. The tour ends with an ice cream... we assumed kiddie cones, but no- double scoop! That was a nice surprise.

We stopped for a quick dairy tour and dessert pit stop. Tours include ice cream with paid admission of $4.50 Adults and $3.50 children... tours are on the hour and lasting 45 minutes. The staff we encountered hardly smiled and was not overly friendly... not sure if they were having an off day. (minus the 1 star) otherwise it was worth the stop. Unfortunately no photography is allowed while on tour. On the way out we did encounter a fairly young staff member that went out of her way to say thank you for coming today and come back and see them! Also inquired if we enjoyed the tour and desserts...

Quality is usually what comes to mind when someone mentions Mayfield. Unfortunately quality is NOT how the tour started. While the tour is sufficient and complete it seems dated. The projection screen in the theatre needs repair. Some displays are faded and also apear dated. The only things that seem to have been updated are the gift shop and ice cream parlor.The tour guide was knowledgeable and efficient. She was good. The main problem is with the dated, worn-out pre-tour facilities. Fortunately the ice-cream IS still quality and very delicious!I WANTED to give 5 stars, but could not honestly do so. The dairy has changed ownership in recent years and unfortunately the tour no longer appears to be a priority. DFA (Dairy Farmers of America) acquired Mayfield in March, 2020.Bring back Scottie Mayfield!

Neat 30 min tour of the factory. Saw them making the milk cartons and packaging the milk and labeling the cartons. Had strong smell of buttermilk and chemicals, but otherwise fine. Had to wear hair nets. No photographs allowed inside the factory.Had a decent scoop of ice cream after.

Temporarily Closed as of 02/13/2021 but unfortunately they do not have any information posted on any of their public contact site. We took the drive out just to verify since we had previously taken the tour and wanted to share the cool experience with friends who had not. Definitely worth it if they ever resume the tours. Otherwise it's still a scenic area of Tennessee to visit.

Came here pick up load ..The warehouse docks and shipping office is on slack road .take a turn to slack rd it say gate number 1 .take a right pass through chain fence gate ..Go straight and take a left where all the trailer parked ..park your truck and go upstairs where it say ice cream shipping for check in..they will give you dock whichever will be free first ..very fast loading..Good communication..check in and out within 1 hour

You can enjoy ice cream from the ice cream parlor without having to tour the dairy. All the flavors of ice cream are delicious. All of them. Trust me. I had ice cream and the kids had milkshakes, and everyone left happy.

Love the tour - super cute I think it was $8.50/person. The ice cream is good too but you have to pay $1 extra if you want any flavor other than chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry. Kinda nickel and dime you but still a fun experience

We recently visited again for the 100th birthday celebration. My daughter and her friends loved it! Ice cream is always delicious. Staff is always friendly.Also, the factory tour (last year) was a nice experience. I do recommend calling in advance to make sure they are running both milk and ice cream lines.

A great place for a sweet treat! Many flavors to choose from made fresh in the factory. We love mayfield ice cream!

Maddie was a wonderful tour guide, she shared information in an entertaining way . She was great to answer everyone's questions.We each tried a different flavor of ice cream (all delicious) and enjoyed rocking in the courtyard while we ate. Lots of places to take fun photos.

OMG super yummy ice cream. With specialty and novelty flavors available. Fun kids area. The tours are closed on Saturday but the ice cream and gift shop are open

The dairy had great ice cream! The tour for kindergartners could have been better. All of the areas we toured were not working for one reason or another. The tour offered videos in the tour areas but the videos didn't have the same effect as the actual machines working.

This place was pretty cool! We went on the tour. They show you how to make ice cream and milk. They serve a free scoop of ice cream as well. The ice cream was delicious. They don't let you take pictures or videos whilst touring for privacy reasons which is understandable. I took a few pictures of the gift shop and the outside. Definitely worth going if you're in the area.

A very unique place to visit with a colorful history. The boat ride onto the lake is definitely the highlight of the tour and what anyone really goes there to do. Cave system over all was a lot smaller than expected and shorter than others I've been to unless you pay more to do the wild tour. Still an enjoyable way to spend an hour and worth a visit.

Tour: This cavern has the cool distinction of being America's largest underground lake. The tour lasts about an hour and a half, and your guide tells you about its history. Most of the tour is on uneven terrain through the cavern, and there are some inclines. There are lights everywhere, but it's a cavern, so it has low lighting. The boat ride was too brief, but I otherwise loved it. It was such a tranquil experience. The water is calm and still, and the fish were fascinating. Our tour guide was funny, but it was difficult to hear him at the back of the group, and he kept a fast pace through the tour. You couldn't spend much time stopping and enjoying the amazing cave features. I wish they gave you more time for the tour, but otherwise, a great experience.Restrooms: Their restroom building was under construction when we did the tour, but they had a restroom trailer that was very nice, clean, and well-kept.

This cave and lost lake were absolutely amazing. The tour guide was very informative and gave a great deal of history on the findings and the cavern and the lake.Take time to stop and capture the coolest tours I've seen an awhile!!!You will not be disappointed.

Lovely cave and boat experience. Clean facility and great guides. It didn't feel as over commercialized as Ruby Falls, so that was a nice touch. Loved the addition of artists like the glass blower and the gem panning as well.

A wonderful experience! I have visited a number of caves over the years, and this tour is right up near the top of my experiences.Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. There's a fair amount of history associated with this cave, and she went through it thoroughly.The tour itself is basically a 20 to 30 minute walk downhill to the bottom of the cave where you board one of their boats for a 10 or 15 minute cruise on the lake. Just a note: the glass bottom boats are being phased out right now, and will be gone by the end of June 2024. They're being replaced with boats that provide a much better viewing experience of the inside of the cave during the boat tour.The walk back up to the entrance is easy enough if you are in reasonably good shape. If you have doubts about your fitness level, consider not doing the final descent from the last rest stop down to the boat ride. The last 100 yd is a steep incline and coming back up challenged some of the less fit individuals in our tour group.The experience itself is extremely reasonably, priced, and worth every penny. Lost Sea Adventure is highly recommended!

Great tour to take if you are looking for a cave tour. Casey and Ashley were excellent tour guides that knew a lot about the formations and answered all of your questions. The walk up had a decent grade at parts but not too bad. They do stop for a couple of breathers on the way up to give you a spot to catch your breath. Overall not too bad of a walk and highly recommend. The boat ride was really cool and not something you commonly get to do. Will definitely have to come back some time for their spelunking tour.

As a local to Tennessee we have never visited these caves until today. We had age group 11-73 and we all had a great experience. The online booking was a breeze and so was the check in process.Our guide for today was Shay (I hope this is her name) and she was amazing. She was so friendly and her sense of humor was great, actually amazing.The walk down was pretty easy but the walk back up is pretty difficult for older people. It’s the incline that was tough for my mom and others I saw that had to stop numerous times.The lake at the bottom is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful down there. The water is crystal clear.I would definitely recommend.

I really enjoyed this adventure! The cave is so rich in history and beautiful. The lake was my favorite. I will definitely be doing this again. This cave is so big. You will get a good walk inside but not too strenuous. The guide stopped frequently so there’s plenty time to rest. Have fun!

For those like me who didn't know, you take a tour with a small hike through a nice cool cave to a small boat ride then back. We got Angela and her "twin" as our tour guides and they both made sure that we had a good time. They have a small glass blower shop filled with beautiful hand blown customizable items, gift shop, and an ice cream shop that was closed at the time we went.

We had a great time today. You want to have a great tour ask for Skyler. He is very informative and funny. Keeps the tour interesting. Definitely wear non skid shoes. Certain places were slippery. We liked the glass blowing place. Lots of beautiful items to purchase. The general store wasn't to impressed. A lot of the same thing and their mining bags were a little pricey. We were looking forward to the ice cream shop but it was closed. Not much else to do which was kinda a bummer.

We have driven past the signs on I75 for this place for years and finally stopped to check it out. It is amazing! Well worth checking out. Skyler, our tour guide, did an amazing job. The boat ride on the underground lake is really cool.Note: the walk down to the lake is a little steep and slippery. You can sit out that part, but then you miss the boat ride.

What a fabulous place to visit. Very intriguing and had an excellent guide. No stairs anywhere all ramps so it's easy to walk with rest benches along the way. Highly recommend, njoy the trip.

The kids truly enjoyed it. The guided tour greatly enhanced our experience, and we learned a lot from our guide, Emma, who is both funny and knowledgeable. We visited during the kids’ spring break, and many time slots were sold out. I recommend purchasing tickets in advance during peak seasons.

Cool place, the tour last for about 1hr. I love the part where the tour guide (cant remember his name sorry) turn the lights off and we're in complete darkness!! Lots off history. Fishes in the lake are cool too. Glass shop was cool too.

Just happened to see a sign and decided to detour and check it out. What a unique and fun experience! It’s quite a hike once you get started but if you’re able to walk inclines, you’ll be fine. Our guide Devin was fun and very well informed on the cave history etc. and the lake was amazing. If you’re passing through and have a couple hours to kill, go for it.

We had a blast at the Lost Sea! It's mostly a walking tour that takes about an hour and a half. The boat ride was 10 or 15 minutes at the end and there was a long climb back to the entrance of the cave. The cave is huge! Very cool! My kids are 5, 6, and 10 and all three had a ton of fun being in the cave. Be warned: if your kids are like mine, they'll get to the bottom of the cave and realize they need the bathroom...

It was a really cool experience, my wife and I loved it. Be sure to wear shoes, not open toed, some spots can be a bit slippery. Our guide Jess was real fun and informative as well. Highly recommend!

This was a great tour. Excellent your guides (ours was Laura- she was fantastic!) with lots of information. All the different rooms and levels were accessed by ramps, no stairs. Slippery in some spots, but fun. Definitely worth it!

I homeschool my 8 and 12 year old, and used this as a fun learning field trip. It was more touristy and busy than I had anticipated, but it didn't turn out to be a problem. The cave is impressive, and although I've lived in east TN for 15 years, I had never visited before. The tour guide was funny, well-spoken, and obviously knowledgeable on his facts. It kept adults and kids of various ages interested. I took a few notes in my phone while we toured and gave a little quiz to my kids after, and they both retained the information and enjoyed the adventure. The only heads up I wish I knew was the amount of walking on hills required. The walk down to the water they equate to a 7-story building in terms of grade difference. I'm a few months post partial knee-replacement, and although I was worried about the walking, I did just fine. Do wear grippy shoes though as the floors are worn smooth and would have been a bit slippery IMO without good sneakers. After the tour, I purchased a bag of rocks in the gift shop for the panning experience just because my kids had never done anything like that before. It was touristy, but fun for them. We have their treasures in the rock tumbler now.

This was such a beautiful experience! Our guide was informative and fun. The walk down into the cave and to the lake was breathtaking, especially if you love nature. The walk back up is no joke! Be prepared. Also, make sure you wear comfortable shoes. Specifically, ones you don't really care about. The red clay can and will destroy them.

Our tour guide, Eli, did a fantastic job showing us around the cave and telling us really interesting stories about its history. On the surface, there is also a very impressive glass blowing/works studio. Even though the site is pretty rural, there are nice big signs indicating where it is. We went in the fall, but this seems like a nice outing for ANY season.

Had a great guide named Skyler, he was young but very funny and knowledgeable, he answered any question we had about the cave, I was very impressed with him. The cave and underground lake were beautiful. The walk is moderate in places, the incline is equivalent to seven sets of stairs; up and down, so be aware. Also, because of the red clay, your shoes will get a bit stained. Totally worth it.

Anytime you have a chance to go into the earth, take it! Of course, if it's safe. This place is amazing as I'm sure many are. You take a little boat ride, walk about a mile in total and they even have expert level caves to explore outside of the guided tour.

Chuck was a phenomenal tour guide! What an incredible experience for the opportunity to spend time in the lake, explore the stalagmites, and learn of the opportunity for spelunking!It's a gorgeous place to visit and accessible for people off ages but know it requires a BIT of walking. I highly recommend visiting if you're in East TN.

Highly recommend checking The Lost Sea Adventure out! It’s an easy drive from Chattanooga or Knoxville, off I-75. Our tour guide, JD, was HILARIOUS and so knowledgeable - definitely made the tour that much better. He was quick to answer questions and share funny stories. The cave tour is a wide path (though steep in parts) and there were all ages on our tour who seemed to enjoy it too. You do get to take several breaks on the steep walk back up. The tour is full of cool history from Cherokee indians, to war stories, to moonshine. The underground boat ride in the lake is what sets this cave apart from other caves in the area. It’s a national registered natural landmark - so no gimmicky fake stuff here. The lake gets lower with less rain and higher with more rain. The boat ride lasted long enough that I felt we had enough time to really enjoy it. The fish were a cool addition and you get to feed them. All in all, I believe this is one of the best cave tours in East Tennessee!

This is a nice cave tour with a short boat ride in the underground lake. The tour takes just over an hour. The walk out is a bit steep so if your not okay with the hike in and out you may want to sit this tour out as they refer to it as a 14 story climb out. If you can manage the hike in and out I highly recommend you exploring it. Reservations are required and are made online.

Very cool experience. We had a newer tour guide and she was excellent. We had a 4pm reservation and were a bit late so the moved us to the 5pm no questions asked. The cave is beautiful and the boat ride is a blast. The tour is an hour long and worth every penny. The glass shop is something else I’d like to mention. We spent about an hour in there as well very cool hand crafted glass products.

This was a very informative and interesting tour. The walk back up the hill was a bit steep but there were a few rest stops on the way up the hill. Be sure to wear some good walking shoes and take a light jacket!

It's been years since we visited. New entrance/waiting area. Upgrades inside the cave. The "sea" remains quite remarkable. Affordable. Helpful staff. Best to reserve tickets.

Great little stop for a fun experience. They say it is cold but by the time you're done, you get pretty warm. Lot of walking and on somewhat steep incline. Beautiful underground lake. Get your tickets online at least a day early.

We had a very good time! Our tour guide Chuck, was very knowledgeable. He even took extra time with our group to show us things not normally included in the tour. Very impressive, well maintained facilities also.

A combination cave tour and boat ride on an underground lake, what's not to love? Although we've been in caves that have a lot more interesting formations in them, it was a nice hike through the cave. The underground lake was really cool, and the highlight of the visit.I guess there is a ticket price discount if you buy them online in advance, they don't offer any discounts at the counter.

Amazing one of a kind experience. Have been to several caves but nothing as beautiful and peaceful as this lake. Was a decent hike up hill to finish the tour, would not recommend to anyone with difficulty walking or significant health problems. Great visit for rainy or cold days, nice consistent temp in the cave (58 degrees I think it was).

I loved this place. Our guide, JD, was awesome and super knowledgeable! The boats are awesome and I would say this is an all around activity that is good for young children to adults! I would say the only hesitation is that you have to walk all the way to the bottom and then all the way back up and that is a bit tricky if you have mobility issues. Had a blast and will be coming again if we have more family in town!

What a cool experience! Very cool cave with really neat features I haven’t seen anywhere else but the crowning achievement is the lake. It is beautiful and well lit. The walking is a bit steep so this may be one to sit out if you might have trouble with something like that but it wasn’t hard for me or any of my children.

You can visit skyway center and get a free map of the skyway. The route has scenic locations of falls and river and lookouts. Do not miss Bald river falls and the beach at camping grounds.Good place to visit during fall! We visited this place in beginning of October, colors were almost there. I recommend to visit this place by end of October. The colors were good as we go to the top. But, once we crossed TN and entered NC on the top, there were no leaves. So I recommend to start taking the skyway from tellico plains instead of Robinsville, NC.

Nice welcoming center, the girl in the front desk was friendly, gave us map of the area and the 25th anniversary coin, restrooms were very clean, the interactive area for the kids was fun.If you are in the area don't miss this stop.

Excellent visitor center. Good historical area with excellent artifacts from days of the old South. Including from early America.

Didn’t go to the center didn’t know about it but accidentally ended up at Cherohala Skyway and loved it so much. Waterfall and very scenic drive with certain spots to swim at like little falls. Picnic area. Very windy road.

Super place! The attendant was very knowledgeable and gracious...made us feel right at home. We got a map of the area (Cherohala Skyway) and a brief overview of it. The gift shop had some great looking shirts to buy, but best of all, there were some locally made items to purchase. We selected an item made by a local potter (Mudslingers) that will make a quality, unique gift for a friend. They also have a nice little area for a picnic lunch or snack out front.

Nice little store the wife found a few items she purchased. Friendly staff and very clean restrooms. The museum was very interesting worth a short walking tour.

Start at the Cherohala Skyway Visitors Centerin Tellico Plains, TN. Absolutely beautiful fall colors!!!! Stay on the TN side for the most color at this time. When crossing over to NC, the trees had lost their leaves or color had passed due to higher elevation as of this writing. Several places to pull over for pictures or picnics at the picnic areas. Be respectful of others as you park or gaze at the beauty so others can also have their turn!!

Very friendly staff in a visitor's center. Restrooms and a generous gift shop. Take advantage of the wifi if you need to connect online for gps.

Beautiful ride in the Miatas! The views are amazing. We went a little too early for the colors on the trees but it is still breath taking. My only complaint was the dual sport bikes passing on double yellow lines! There's a posted speed limit of 40. The car in front of me was doing that and I counted 7 bikes that pasted and squeezed between us and then passed each of us, we were three and the car in front of us made 4. We didn't let it ruin our day though! Still worth the ride! Start in Tellico Plains and end coming across the Dragon! Be sure to wave at the cameras! Have fun and be safe!

Wonderful Source of Information!! They are prepared to tell you about the #TotalityInTellico Event. Free maps, where the free camping in the Cherokee National Forest is [but be forewarned - the Cherokee National Forest site says they will close when full], and where other local atractions are. Right next door are the two buildings of the privately-owned Charles Hall Museum, which documents regional and Appalachian history. The Visitors' Center has a nice gift shop with a wide variety of items, including beautiful Totality In Tellico T-Shirts while they last!The staff is very friendly and helpful, but they told me I'd have to ask about parking for the event next door, because the Charles Hall Museum is hosting parking. It will be in the grassy area behind the buildings of the Museum, across the small creek, and will cost you %5. But, the Museum is free, and a great way to spend a few hours learning about life before electricity, and the early days of electronics! The weekend before the Monday, Aug 21st eclipse is filled with fun activities for the whole family! No alcohol will be allowed during the event.Back to the Visitor's Center., It is run by Monroe County, so anything you buy there benefits the small communities here. Tellico Plains only has less than a thousand souls!If you are mobility challenged like I am, you'll be pleased to know that both the Visitor's Center and Charles Hall Museum buildings are very accessible. I came with my walker because I couldn't lift my wheelchair, and had no trouble getting around. Rest rooms in all 3 buildings are accessible and very clean. They are well-lit and there is plenty of space to get between displays to look, even if I was in my power chair.Staff is very helpful, friendly and welcoming! There is a nice variety of items for sale, including Eclipse Glasses for $3 a pair while they last. I didn't notice any duplicate items between the Visitor's Center and the Museum, so be sure and check out both places for souveniers! Don't wait till the 21st to buy. With a couple thousand extra people [probably a LOT more] there might not be anything left!The building is not very big, but has a lot of items and prices were reasonable. While I was there, a steady stream of folks from all over the country came through, some looking for eclipse info, and others here to visit Cherokee National Forest. Apparently a lot of motorcycle buffs visit here year round, too! If motorcycles are your thing, there;'s a bike shop in the Museum's Gift Shop, too.Camping is normally abundant in this area, but due to the eclipse, most places and paid campgrounds are full. Free spaces are first come, first serve, and the Cherokee National Forest will close when it gets full. Most motel rooms anyplace near the Zone of Totality have been booked for a couple years because astronomers are coming from all over the world to see the eclipse! Somewhere in the world, there's an eclipse about every 18 months. But, total eclipses are few and far between if you don't travel. The last eclipse to cross the country like this one does was 99 years ago! For lodging, you might check with relatives who live in the Zone, places like AirBNB, and small motels. You might get lucky! Book early!! Leave early!! Travel on Aug 21 is predicted to be bad.Aside from the eclipse, it's a great place to visit, and you can learn about all the neat places to visit all around! They have many, many brochures on local attractions, detailed maps for sale, and many interesting items. They are used to fielding questions from people who are visiting the first time, and are good at giving enough, but not too much, info. There's an art to that! If you want more, they give more. If you have enough, they are good at spotting that, and give you time to browse.I've been in a lot of visitor info centers in my 58 years, and this one is definitely near the top of my list, if not THE top. I'll definitely be back, and recommend you stop by, too!

When we lived in Chicago, people would make a pilgrimage to Michigan each autumn to "see the colors." While quite beautiful, that experience pales in comparison to East Tennessee and the Cherohala Skyway. The drive was blissfully peaceful, and the views breathtaking, spectacular. Y'all probably have one or two weekends left. This is a must see to experience the splendor of God's creation.

Never got a chance to go in. We were greeted in a not welcome way in the parking lot as soon as we pulled in. Was plenty of parking spots open and someone told us right as we pulled into a parking spot and ready to go in if we could move because they were saving room for a trailer. We were there in the morning of 11/5/23. We had never been this way and made it park of our fall drive. This was our first stop coming from 2hr, 40mins away. After we were not greeted so welcome we just left. Maybe don’t stop here on a weekend and only on a week day or only if there is no cars in the parking lot then maybe stop in. Sadly we won’t be back this way.

We stopped by here and loved it. We stayed here for hours. Between their musuems and history stuff and great gift shops with a very large selection we thoroughly enjoyed this place.

Beautiful scenery and so much beauty to see. If you go make sure to hit bald river falls you won’t regret it!

This is a wonderful FREE little museum. Great displays of guns, telephone history, and many other things. The two buildings hold a LOT of local history. The gift shops are also pretty neat.The glass partitions make photography difficult.

This is an absolute must-see! Two museums and gift shops side-by-side with the best and oldest antiques you've ever seen in glass displays. Admission is free!

This is a wonderful museum filled with so many historic artifacts and memories and it is free. It also has a nice gift shop and welcome center with area menus, brochures and maps. We ate at the Tellico Grains Bakery just down the street and it had outdoor picnic tables and it was an overall beautiful day. Waterfalls and scenic drives are nearby also.

This is again a new place for me to visit. This establishment was a very informative museum inside of it in which was awesome history and thro back in time, they also had a little store inside of to do a little gift shopping that was very nice. I enjoyed my visit here very much.

2 great museums with guns, Indian artifacts, telephones, automobiles, typewriters, and more! Plus, 2 gift shops and a very courteous and friendly staff. They even sell local fudge and it's memorable!!!!! So good!!!

Absolutely amazing displays! You are missing out if you choose to pass by this wonderful museum. These buildings are a credit and a tribute to Tellico Plains and East Tennessee. Thank you for providing a most extensive look back into time.

The Charles Hall Museum named after its original creator . Is a museum with over 330 historical guns dating back to 1776. Antique coins and money, native American tools, arrowheads pottery,historical pictures. Museum also has lots and lots of antique telephones and switchboard. A moonshine still a 1934 Restored Plymouth, 1922 Model T. There's something for everyone. We'll worth the scenic travel to Tellico Plains.

This brought a flood of memories to my mind. Charles Hall and my Grandfather Price were good friends. There is even a showcase of part of the gun collection that belonged to my grandfather! What a cool movie going experience! Huge theater! HUGE! Easy to sit miles away from other people, if that is a concern. Lobby is giant, has video games and a curly slide from the second floor. There were many concession options. They've done a good job of combining dinner and a movie into one place. Definitely would recommend!

A limited menu is always a good sign that your meal will be great. They have the real standard fare, all of which you can count on to be good. Well trained service staff, low turnover.

Target isss...just great, always. I love the layout of THIS particular store more than a lot though, internally. It is very easy to find everything and has a nice atmosphere. The parking lot can be a challenge to get out of when it starts getting busy, but you can go up towards the front of the store and get out eventually with a little patience.

You could go here multiple times and still not see everything there is to see, shop, and eat. Love that there is plenty of parking. Not a huge fan of how the left turns are designed if you’re not at a major intersection. Whatever you’re looking for you’ll probably find it here!

I bought these sheets at the Target located in the shopping center. They have other stores in the shopping center too. I will say the shopping center has a lot of parking and the parking on the side of Target which is often overlooked. That is where most of the handicap spots are. There are a variety of other stores there to shop from and a pet store. I bought a cat tower there. I haven't taken a picture of it yet but when I do I will post it here. Oops, I did take a picture, here is Bruiser in the cat tower I have just added. I hope this answer is anyone's questions about the shopping center. This place has a wonderful kid/toy section,with a small theater area set up with Disney movies always on!Pricey ,but great selection.

Turkey Creek has about every place you want to shop. You can make a day of shopping, dining and then take in a movie. We can do our grocery shopping there too. There can be a lot of traffic at times and if they are working on the road in the area you might find yourself sitting still for a bit. The Lovell road entrance seens to have much more traffic than the Campbell Station Entrance

We ordered food and drinks to take into theater and it took forever. Plenty of workers running around, but no one stopped to ask if we needed anything or even to find out why we were standing around for so long at the food pick up area. Then workers came out with orders and were not saying names or numbers, just announcing the food they were carrying out. Some other orders were actually given to us because we also ordered what was brought out by other workers. Very disorganized at the pick up area thats for sure. When we went into the theater I think people thought that if they increased the volume of the movie it made it a better movie to watch. It was so flipping loud. I like having it a bit louder because that is part of the surround movie sound, but this was over and beyond. It would be nice to have some type of swing arm table available to put your food, drink and popcorn on also. Having to leave part of your food on the floor kinda makes me feel like that is a bit unsanitary and then you have to move everything when people are trying to walk by to exit and enter the isle. We will go back again, just some ideas to possibly make some future changes.

There is alot of variety in this shopping plaza. The stores are big and nice we shop here quite a bit. Better prepare for a walk or plenty of driving though haha the strip is a little long but it's worth it when alot of the stores you might like are all right there.

Looking for boy's sneakers but availability was very limited. Spiderman or Jurassic Park dinosaurs with florescent colors and big, Velcro closures. Just tacky. I'm sure kids love that but I want something less 'playground'.

Total wine and spirits store is a one stop shop for anything that has to do with alcohol beverages. You can't go wrong at this place if shopping for your favorite alcoholic beverages. Friendly people and service. If not on the shelf, they will check the storeroom if they have it. They'll even order something for you if they don't carry it. I myself recommend this place for your holiday spirits.

Came to Knoxville for a little daytrip, shopping and some lunch. The Turkey Creek shopping center offers many options for retail and dining. It's always a great time spending the day in the Turkey Creek Shopping Center

We loved the movie we came with to meet our school. We were the only ones who showed and they still treated my daughter amazingly. They even have her a tiny troll she keeps with her.

This is about a mile of shopping. Everything from food to furniture in one area. Turkey Creek is clean and safe. most of the time I was shopping alone and I felt very safe. I found myself chatting with locals shopping and in the parking lot.

I love the camp sites out here make sure you take anything with you that you want to keep(tarps included). All and all a great place to stay at.

(Do ask your trusty tour guide Cleve Tedford about the zebra biting off the tail of the donkey!) Tour the property for 2+ hrs. depending on how many questions you ask and not see another soul. Wilderness setting where GPS and cell phones don't work. There's no sign at entrance, just locked gate that could go to anywhere when opened . . . but the road beyond does lead to Cleve dream, a hideaway folks who visit could never conceive that a place like this even exists. . .

Awesome place. As with any wilderness area some of it has been vandalized and occasionally you'll find trash. Camp site 9 is a sweet spot. Close to the water, open and flat. Spend as much time as you can in this entire forest, it's good for your soul

First off, Cleve couldn't be a nicer man! On top of his kind nature, he is highly informative. And he should be, he has a very special and large plot of land with several rare species of animals just roaming freely! Now I don't want to give too much away but just know, unless you've been on safari in Africa or the like, you haven't been privy to such wildlife in this type of surrounding. This is one man's labor of love and it shows. I highly recommend it to all!

Beautiful park - had no trouble finding a secluded spot to park and enjoy wading in the water with my dog. The road on the way can get bumpy but my little hatchback had no problems.

Very nice place love going here it's very wild and very peaceful. I highly recommend going here and spend the day by yourself or with the family so many species to observe its where we go if we want a day trip to get away.

If you love the great outdoors and want to keep the kids off of there phones for awhile this is the place

Full of trees rocks rivers animals fresh air sunshine when you can see it from under all that other stuff, that is if you really want to look at something other than your feet. Cause you might fall in one of those pesky rivers or fall down the side of one maybe two hills that pass as Mountain. And talk about inconvenient, there's no one to tell you how to get anywhere, no fast food, no gas, no air-conditioning or heat. And talk about bugs and snakes not to mention the things with fur. Don't go Please, Please , Please. Stay home with the TV Remote and a refrigerator full of Grease food,beer and wine. No Sir waste of muscle.

Nice park with a water feature across the street. Great "free" family outing, the kids will definitely enjoy. The water feature is really nice, and it has great seating area.🚨I think the playground is for ages 5-12. If you have toddlers that visit, just be mindful that the items of park are geared for older children.I love how the park offer sunscreen dispensers, that's be very thoughtful!Free parking is a 3-4 minute walk away, and the max time is 4 hours, which is plenty to enjoy.Overall it's a great place to come to bring kids for a little fun on a hot day.

Always enjoy the World's Fair Park. They have the Dogwoods Art festival today which was just a great event. Plus the splash pad and the playground are great for families.Always a nice walk, even if there's not an event going on. I will say I will probably never pay $5 to go in the World's Fair ball. For tourists it's probably a nice box to check but for people who live in the area it's definitely a pass.Convention center is right next to the World Fair Park as well plus it is a short walk to downtown.

My brother just moved to Knoxville and I helped him drive out from Arizona.With four small children in tow, we explored this fun park on New Year's Day. There are plenty of fun things to enjoy - including the Sunsphere platform, a reflecting pool, bird mural, various county flags on display, an Ampitheater (where my nieces and nephews, my brother, my dad and I did a little performing - singing and dancing to a song we enjoyed listening to on our drive cross country - the five or so people also enjoying the Ampitheater were kind enough to clap at the end ;)For the kids, the best part was the playground. We enjoyed playing until it started raining again and we headed back to the car.

This is a beautiful park, there's a water feature. And, the Sunsphere observation deck gives you a 360 view of the city. This is really fun little excursion if you happen to be downtown Knoxville. You will need a reservation to go up to the observation deck. It costs $5 and you purchase tickets online. They have a few souvenirs once you get up there and the tickets are in 30 minutes blocks... although, you do not have to leave at the end of your 30 minutes... just know that another group is coming up and it will be crowded

Super cute little park complete with four slides, a tall tower to climb ladders and ropes. There is a huge silver slide at the top of the tower as well.A neat addition to the downtown area!The only downfall was not the playground itself, but near the playground on the sidewalk. Someone had broke a huge mirror and it was shattered into pieces all over the sidewalk.

For the past several months I’ve been wanting to tour the SunSphere. Today, I finally got the opportunity and it was just amazing to ride 210 feet up the elevator to see a full view of the city of Knoxville! What a sight! 🤩 I also like the park area too. There’s a STEM school close by and free parking near the school.

I was excited to visit this historic place, but it turns out everything closed at five. There wasn’t any signage outside to gain historic insight. It would be a sweet concert space. A sweet memorial was worth the visit.

This is the World’s Fair Park in Knoxville, Tennessee. I first came here in 1982 when they were having the World’s Fair. I was 8 years old at the time. They have since turned in into a splash pad and added a play ground. Not to mention many other activities go on year around here. I used to bring my kids here every chance I could when I lived in Knoxville. Now my daughter brings my grandson’s. I love it here!❤️

Its smaller than I expected, but its still an interesting place to visit. You have to book your time slot in advance and the hour is plenty of time to look out over the views and read the interesting information boards.

Nestled against the University of Tennesse the The World's Fair park offers a great place to let the kids run around like someone left the gate open. They can enjoy the massive splash pad with some jets shooting over 10 feet. The playground is super cool with plenty of interesting structures. There is a huge expansive of grass as well.For Adults there is the Sunsphere tower built for the 1982 World's Fair where the observation deck provides a spectacular 360 degree view of Knoxsville and the Smoky Mountains. Also be sure to catch a performance in the Amphitheater.

One of the things I appreciate is that Knoxville has integrated the former 1982 World's Fair grounds into a appealing park that is vibrant and complementary to the city. Other cities have done it not as well. The park includes pleasant areas to walk, relax and take in the scenery. It's an easy walk from downtown to get there.

The park is well maintained, has a public rest room and a free parking lot. It has a lot of green space and benches. It also has a nice water fountain for children to play. The elevator ride to the top of the Sun Sphere is a nice experience but you need to get tickets ahead of time over the internet.

So much to do and just enjoy being outside. Great playground for kids, and a splash pad for kids big and small

Incredible park! Events are ALWAYS happening (check out the Knoxville schedules), great kids area, can’t beat the view of the Sunsphere, and very walkable. Not a ton of shade, but not always necessary depending on the event. Parking is all over the place, most of it free. Mardi Growl, Wing Fest, Brew Fest, 4th of July, the Knoxville Marathon, Asian Festival, etc etc etc. You name it, they have it at Worlds Fair Park!

Long walk from parking to park. Beautiful park with nice water feature. Has a stage. Wheel chair accessible around the water. Great views of the Sunsphere, fountain and more. They have a wonderful Veterans Memorial at the edge of the park.

Great small park in the middle of downtown Knoxvile at the site of the 1982 World's Fair. There's a playground on one end with a really good Veterans Memorial. Security is present and the atmosphere was great!

It's a very nice park and we'll mantained. It's a good place to walk and relax a short walk from downtown.

Amazing view!! Our *tour guide gave us lots of information!! The grounds were very nice. If you have a chance, go inside the convention center and see the large Rubic cube.Parking was confusing 😕

This just reopened after a long closure due to covid and some updates. The employees and director were friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. The view is good and they are planning to continue improving the experience. I am told it used to be free and locals are unhappy that it's now $5 a person to go to the top. I for one am OK with paying a nominal fee to support a historic structure for continued maintenance and improvements. Other places charge four times as much or more. Right now you need to book online and call a phone number to have the attendant bring you up. You can walk up some stairs to view from the 2nd story observation deck for free. The parking is a good distance from here and I didn't see any handicapped parking either. I think in time this will become more of a destination. I hope to see more photos, memorabilia and stats about the construction and the world's fair included. It was still worth the visit!

The Sunsphere was a great experience. Great 360 view of Knoxville. Kids were free. We have a 9,7 and 2 month old my husband and I were $5 each. Worth the price. You can take elevators or stairs. Pay online before you go but you do have the option to pay there with card or cash.

The Sun sphere is a remnant of the Worlds Fair held in Knoxville in the 80's. It's actually gold plated. Looks cool from the outside and you buy tickets to look around the observation deck; kind of anticlimactic to be honest. The convention grounds though are nice. There's an outdoor theater, a very nice park, and local cultural attractions nearby. Overall recommended

8.30.23 I'm from CT and was visiting for the 1st time. There was some street parking and small lots not too far, a short walking distance from tblhe World's Fair Park, where the Sunsphere is located. Tickets to go up the Sunsphere are $5 and you just scan the bar code and buy them on your phone. You can only go up at the designated times to the observation floor. And note, they close for an hour and half during lunch (so check times online). The park itself is nice, and free, so can stroll around. The sphere itself is cool. And once on the observation floor, there's lots of memorabilia and photos from the original days. And the views are beautiful. You can see the University of TN, etc. Definitely worth the $5pp

This was my first time back since the remodel. It now cost $5 to get in, however they have a free photo booth and you can take as many pics as you want. They also have a small gift shop, where I had to buy a small version of the SunsphereYou must buy tickets ahead of time and then the staff comes down to get you so you can go up.

It’s a must see if you come to Knoxville. The Sunsphere offers great views of the Knoxville area and the mountains. The observatory has a little timeline and picture of the world’s fair, and gives you a complete 360 degree view. Tickets are timed for every half hour (and only cost $5/person) which is more than enough time to explore.

Awesome views of Knoxville, however there is only one floor that they let you go to. The higher levels are offices and rental spaces. But the entry was only 5 bucks. The staff was very nice and well informed and the facilites/grounds were very clean and well kept.

A must-do in Knoxville. I am a local, but just went for the first time, and I'm glad I finally did. This isn't the tallest building in the city, and the observation deck isn't even on the top floor, so your view isn't breathtaking. But it's a huge part of local history, and a piece of world history. It's also just a cool building. Once you're on the observation deck, it's a self-guided tour, although a tour guide is close by to answer any questions you may have. Once you're done checking out the views, definitely check out the huge Rubik's Cube in one of the adjacent buildings.

We visited the Sunsphere on our way to the mountains. It was a lot of unexpected fun to see the site of the former Worlds Fair. It has definitely aged over the years. However, the Sunsphere was getting painted its original blue color while we were there (proof that they care and continue maintenance). The museum and views from above are interesting and make use of the small space in a fun and effective way. It was only $5 for adults and free for kids 12 and under (ours were 12). We also found a beer stein outside Helen, GA (our eventual destination) that perfectly summed up our trip to The World's Fair and Helen's Bavarian village. These will be memories that we cherish.

It was a nice way to get an overview, literally, of the town. If you're like me and seek out high places to visit, the tower is eight stories tall but the observation area is only on the 4th level.Timed tickets are required and were $5 as of March 2024.

You have seen this towering Sunsphere, but did you know that you can see it from the inside?? Buy a 5 dollar ticket online. This gets you 30 minutes inside the top of the tower. You will see many Knoxville attractions and even the Smokey mountains. Also, many souvenirs from the 1982 Worlds fair are on display.

This was a great way to see Knoxville as a tourist. Loved the views and experience. Very reasonably priced. Quick overall thing to do while in town.

The view from the Sunsphere is nice and the surrounding area is beautiful. I expected a bit more from our "guide" who didn't do anything other than let us on the elevator. Once you're up in the sphere you're on your own to walk around. There are some informational signs about the history of the sphere and the World's Fair as well as some info about the surrounding area. Also, there is no need to show up 15 minutes early when you pre-purchase your tickets, as their website suggests.

We have been on the Sunspere when it first opened in 1982. It was great then and it still is. One can see Knoxville and areas around from above to provide a different perspective. There are some interesting historical displays in the walk around area. The fee for getting on it is very reasonable.

This was a super cute way to see the city! Only 5 bucks each, and the time slots made sure no one felt crowded. It's a self guided tour, so our group could still be silly and have our own fun. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance.

We just walked around the outside of the sphere.We were rushed along by an wig salesman who said, "now are you boys gonna buy some wigs, or aint ya?"Jokes aside, it's an impressive building, and the park nearby is nice. It gives cool information about the 1982 Worlds Fair, for which the Sun sphere (Wigsphere) was built.

There's no where in Knoxville better than the historic Tennessee Theatre to see a show!!! Whether it's a rock concert, a Broadway musical or watching a film...the Tennessee Theatre is the place to see it. There's not a bad seat in the house, the sound is incredible and the architecture is absolutely brilliant and beautiful.If you get the chance to see ANYTHING in this historical theatre, DO IT!!! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!

It has been called the South's most Beautiful theater, and it's easy to see why! Check out my pictures.Opened in 1928. On my visit, I experienced organist Freddie Brabson, GREAT!, and band, The Vertical Birds! Fantastic singer, DJ Morrison, is also a talented songwriter and guitar player! His band is great! Enjoyed my visit to this gorgeous theater.

I love attending shows at this venue. It's a gorgeous setting and easy to get to downtown. My husband and I were there to see Stomp on May 9th. This show was fantastic without any of them ever having uttered a word. I've never been more happy to hear so much noise from everyday items like brooms, a box of matches, paint cans, lighters, shopping carts, inner tubes, hubcaps, and even a kitchen sink! These performers put their heart and soul into the show, and you can hear it! If they ever come back to Knoxville, I'm going again. ❤️💙💜🩷❤️

So beautiful! I'd pay just to sit here. Saw Righteous Brothers. Even with having to show covid card/ test the lines moved fairly quickly. It was easy to get from parking lot to theater. Book signing after show went smoothly. I would love to visit this theater again!

AWESOME CONCERT AT TENNESSEE THEATER TONIGHT!! ZZ TOP! I have to say seeing a concert in this kinda of venue was a totally different experience than being in a huge stadium. Of course both have their pros and cons but here it's a more personal experience. Something that you can't achieve in a huge venue. LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Oh and the history that goes along with it, makes it that much more enjoyable! 1000% recommend!

I love this venue! The building is amazing and beautiful, the staff are above and beyond, the sound is great, and it's in a great location in the old city. There is always ample parking within a block or two at most also. What more could you want?-The photos are from the Kansas concert on August 18, 2023 (50th anniversary tour).

Great concert venue, great staff. The architecture inside is something to see all by itself. I come for comedy and concerts/the symphony. Crowding at the concession area can sometimes be too much, especially if shows run too close to each other and people are let in late to the second show (happened with Daniel Tosh shows recently).

We went for the first time to the Tennessee Theater to see the Bonnie Raitt concert. The Theater is elaborate and so beautiful! The staff are very helpful in finding seats for you. The bathrooms are large and their are not long waiting lines. The acoustics in the theater are excellent. I hope to go there ma \ny, many more times.

First timers and we couldn't be more impressed. Such a beautiful theater and the show was outstanding!! Everyone was helpful and welcoming. Looking forward to becoming a supporting member. See you again soon!

We went to see A Drag Queen Christmas at the Tennessee theater yesterday evening. My husband and I had a blast as well as watching everybody else's loving energy in the Tennessee Theatre during this beautiful performance. A thank you to all the drag queens in the performance, the manager of the theatre and especially the people that stood out front shielding us from the idiots across the street. They evidently came up from some church in Lenoir City to protest. A very tiny minded little group of hateful people had to endure the love from the counter protesters. Enjoyed the concert on Monday July 3rd. The organ music was great and the Singing Seniors from the O'Connor Senior Center were great too.

Let me start by saying.. This place is beautiful! The architecture and craftsmanship are amazing. Now, I guess you're wondering why I only gave 3 stars? I have been wanting to see Tom Keiffer since the 1980s and never got the chance. When I seen he was coming to a venue this close, I decided it was time to finally get to see him. I bought the best seats I could afford. My wife and I were so excited! We got to the show and found our seats. They were fantastic! The band came out and..... You couldn't hear Tom or the guitars or anything that was supposed to be coming out of the line array. You could only hear the subs and some sound off the stag and stage monitors.Then you could hear the array for a second and it would cut off again. I don't know if it was a compression problem or a short in the cables but it totally ruined the show. We were honestly ready to leave after the first 2 songs. The only reason we stayed was to support the band.

An excellent, historic theater. Every seat is a good one. I've seen two concerts here, sound and lighting was great both times. Staff is helpful and courteous.

We have been several times over the last 6 months. This concert was absolutely amazing. Never saw them before but will definitely see them again. Saw Foreigner there also & the Nutcracker. Was able to check a couple shows off my bucket list. Great theater sound is great & you have great view of stage no matter where u sit.

I took my fiancé to a Beethoven violin concerto hosted by the Tennessee Theater. First off, parking was $10 in a lot just across the street. Once we got in we were blown away by the ambiance and decor. The place is very elegant, classy, and extremely clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The guards heckled me to chug a beer because you aren't aloud to take out drinks during a smoke break, lol. The prices for alcohol weren't bad, I've seen them more expensive in movie theaters...yeah you AMC in Johnson City. Overall we were extremely pleased. The music sounded great, everything lived up to one's childhood dream. Another experience crossed off the bucket list.

First time experiencing Tennessee Theater. Saw LAa Traviata. It was awesome. Packed house. Gorgeous setting and powerful show. Usher very helpful and courteous. Easy access. Loved it and already looking fir an excuse to return. Everyone should have this experience.

This venue never fails to deliver! The acoustics are good and the shows are great.My daughter bought us tickets for The Simon and Garfunkle Story... a tribute band.All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Don't fail to visit soon!

Theater is located downtown and there is free parking in the State Street Garage directly behind the Theater. Entrance was by electronic ticket on your phone. Went very smoothly. Theater is very ornate and appealing. Bathrooms on the upper and lower levels. Staff was super friendly.

Came here to see Charles Lloyd and John Paul Jones during the Big Ears Festival 2024. The theater is gorgeous with so many seats. Love the experience overall!

A much cherished place amongst the locals, this gorgeous theatre with its iconic Tennessee sign is definitely worth a visit. They often do concerts and stage productions, but we went to one of their summer movies, to see Sleeping Beauty. The theatre has been well-cared for, and it is still a glamorous place. The staff were all very friendly too. Before the movie, we got to see their organist play the Wurlitzer organ, which is a magnificent instrument. He rose up out of the floor, and played several Disney songs. It was a perfect prelude to a Disney classic.

This is a great piece of history. The building is full of well preserved relics of the past. It was a great venue to see the comedy show. I will say the seats are small and tight, and not very comfortable but can be tolerated for a couple of hours. The staff members were pleasant for the most part. It's pretty easy to get to with lots of parking garages nearby.

One of the best zoos I've been to. The animals seem happy and active, and not only are the exhibits top notch with multiple view points, some of which are inside (with A/C!), but the walking paths are engaging with thoughtfully placed water misters and shade! So much care for the animals and guests. Plenty of attractions to keep kids happy, the food is actually good and reasonably priced. Definitely worth a trip!! 10/10

I live about 45 minutes away from Knoxville and yearly we get memberships to the zoo. I highly recommend doing so if you live in the area! The zoo is smaller than many zoos, but still has a lot to do and see for kids of all ages. They’ve recently renovated their habitat for reptiles and it looks great! They host seasonal events and activities (Boo at the Zoo, dinosaur takeover, etc.). The splash pad is great, the petting zoo and play area are cute, and the food at the restaurants are (expectedly) overpriced, but good quality. They do well in their maintenance and cleanliness and it seems like the animals are well cared for.

We had a great time at the Zoo Knoxville. We went with three kids under 5 and three adults on a weekday morning. We did not have a wait to get tickets or enter the zoo. The zoo is very well laid out with easy to navigate paths and signs, with bathrooms / changing rooms always close by. There was something for everyone in our group with fun exhibits and explanations for all the fun and unique animals. We brought in our wagon and alternated from pushing our kids or letting them run along the paths to the next exhibit. The zoo has a variety of animals in exciting enclosures, a petting zoo, splash pads (not open when we went), a kids playground, and lots of photo opportunities.There are many food stands, restaurants with indoor and outdoor eating areas, however many of them were not open when we were visiting.The other unique set of displays in this zoo is their dinosaur exhibits where there are large robotic dinosaurs that move and make noise. My kids really loved those!Overall the zoo took us about 2 hours to complete, which was the perfect time for short - attention spans and we ended right before lunch. I would definitely go again to explore the splash pad and playground areas as well as to see the well cared for animals again.

We love Zoo Knoxville! My daughter adores all her animal friends who live at the zoo. She is a big fan of monkeys, red pandas, ghiraffes, otters, and tigers. The zoo is well arranged for ease of visiting. This zoo's trails run in loops and the animals have reasonably large well appropriated paddocks. There is plenty of shade for the animals and humans that are at the zoo. The zoo has sunscreen and hand sanitizer dispensers throughout their facilities for sanitizing and preventing children from getting sun burnt. There is also a splash pad for children and parents to cool down during the hot of the Summer. This zoo is definitely a world class Zoological Park.

We love this zoo! The staff is so friendly, and very knowledgeable. We had the opportunity to go to a party hosted privately after hours, and to have the zoo to ourselves was such a wonderful experience. The guided tours, refreshments along the way, feeding the giraffe and a catered dinner, just wow! They pull out all the stops!

For about 10 yrs we have bought yr passes...we have skipped a year here and there before openings of new exhibits...we are such a big fan of knoxville zoo...they have some neat exhibits and fun experiences...till September you can walk the trails and see the dinosaurs and some move...the new outer space is one of our favorites. Being up close to red pandas and a sloth is pretty cool too! Not to mention riding carousel.

It was a wonderful day with my son, their Uncle Wesley, and 2 & 3 yr old granddaughters. Their parents were on a BD and Anniversary get away. It was miserably hot so the misters were nice to walk through. All the animals were out and we seen them all but the Bears. We actually noticed how Healthy all the animals looked too. We are so very proud of Knoxville Zoo. The moving and roaring Dino's throughout was exciting. I wish we had known more about the Dino Eggs while we were actually there. But my 3 yr old found them anyway. The old Safari Jeep was a perfect idea for kids to play in. It was truly a wonderful day to spend with my grown son and our little ones.

I went for the first time over this past weekend with my children who have previously been. I enjoyed myself as did the kids but we didn't get to see all of the animals with it being so busy, but we made the best of it. My favorite part was probably feeding the turtles, they were very cute and took the leaves so gently. We ate at the beatro which was good but pricey. It was a hot day and the mist fans were great. I'd definitely go again!

We love this zoo so much!!! Great reptile exhibit indoors for inclement weather. Love the new otter habitat too! Plenty of good food options and places for kids to play between visiting the animals. Kids got to feed a sloth one time too!

A pretty decent zoo for the price. It's about $25/person to get in, and you can easily spend a few hours here. They have a good amount of things for small kids to keep them busy. There's a nice play area, petting zoo, carousel, and a splash pad. The assortment of animals is pretty standard for a zoo. I did appreciate the turtle and frog section they have set up. The gift shop is very pricey, so get your stuffed animals elsewhere and skip the markups.

Great experience. Lots of animals and very spacious. This is one of the better zoos that I've been to. I think the directions are a little difficult to follow, But ultimately you will manage I really enjoyed the up close and personal tiger area and then the lion area.

Giving a three stars simply because 3-4 exhibits was empty. We wasn’t able to see the zebras, tiger,otters, rhinos they where no out. I’m unsure what was going on but my little girl was so sad about the zebras. The dinosaur exhibit was truly wonderful. We have a Dino obsessed little boy and he was amazed. They made the whole trip worth it just to see him smile. Over all nice zoo would recommend updating the strollers too they were a little run down. But I do like that they have that option to be able to rent one. Parking was a mess but not the zoos fault it was just a busy time.

The Knoxville Zoo is a great place to spend the morning before the day gets too hot. Even when the animals are too hot, you can still see them indoors as these spaces have glassed viewing areas. My daughter and I spent around 2 1/2 hours viewing the animals and reading about the various conservation programs such as the Red Panda Preservation. Surprisingly, the Dinosaurs at Dawn exhibit was also a favorite and we were impressed by their animatronics. Parking was free and easy. The other visitors seemed to be local parents/grandparents with small children.

We love coming to the zoo. We first started our excursions because we were socializing our Service Dog and what better place to introduce distractions? The animals all loved our dog and made the trips more exciting. Now we enjoy coming with family, in particular our little niece and nephews. Well worth the price and time spent. Members get food and gift shop discounts, so that's a plus too!

Nice little Zoo. (I'm from San Diego, and our Zoo is very large and more than one park, which is why I said little Zoo.) They do a nice job with the enclosures. Fun outing to take the Grandkids for the day! They're doing a little remodeling, so there were a few interruptions to the flow around the park. They have the natural habitat type of enclosures, which I appreciate. Lovely weather, we had a lot of fun! I also appreciate the fact that they have free admission for Veterans! Good job!!

This was my first visit to the Knoxville Zoo, and I have to say that I was expecting a much better experience than the one I received. I'll start with the low points:The animals seemed...sad. Most of them were sleeping or hiding. So, you don't get to see half of the animals that are advertised. And the ones that you do see (for the most part) seem exhausted and miserable. The glare on some of the exhibits make it nearly impossible to see in when the sun is out. Accessibility appears to be limited in some areas of the Zoo. Lastly, the gift shop isn't even worth visiting in my opinion, there's hardly anything related to the zoo itself.My favorite and what I consider the best part of the zoo was the amphibian and reptiles exhibit. But beware, it can get very hot in there due to the humidity and crowding. So, I would avoid it if you have breathing issues. I really enjoyed it though. They have some cool snakes, lizards, turtles, and frogs. Plus that's where their sloth is located! Loved him. Would have totally stolen him if he wasn't so high up. The Gorillas are also amazing. I could have stood and watched them for hours. They have so much personality.That's about all I have to say.

Great zoo. Nice place for the family to enjoy an outing. Lots of cool animals. Make sure to visit the Arc building. It has several snakes and neat things.

Went to the Knoxville zoo today with my kids. We went up to get our tickets and the girl charged me for my two year old who should have been free. After I corrected that she also charged $5.00 for parking. The lot was so full we had to park over by Muse and we still got charged for parking. So for four of us we paid $80.85. That's kind of steep for a zoo this size. Once inside we realized many of the animals were not outside. Many enclosures had nothing to view and several people were commenting on it. Also couldn't help but notice lots of the concessions stands were closed as well. It's spring break and it was very crowded. My kids rode the train and the merry go round and both were an additional $4 per kid per ride. They did however enjoy both. What animals we were able to see my kids enjoyed. They also loved the dinosaur a lot. The petting zoo was a favorite of the kids as well. I gave three stars because my kids did enjoy the experience. My girl and I were somewhat disappointed and probably had a two star experience. They need more animals and more viewing opportunities for the animals they do have. The kids were entertained and I guess that's all that counts. Being forced to exit through the gift shop with kids felt like a final cash grab. Water for $3.50 in the vending machine with all the water fountains off was frustrating. I would reluctantly recommend a visit but not really enthusiastically. We wished we had a better time but we're just being honest.

The Knoxville Zoo is always a blast. If you have kids and/or love animals, I highly recommend visiting. Some of these pics are from their temporary Planet Prehistoric exhibit, which is pretty cool.

Zoo Knoxville was great, however some of the enclosures did not have any of the animals posted that was supposed to be in them (just a few enclosures). We did get to see several animals which did make for the empty enclosures. We stepped into one of the cafes got in line to grab a drink. The cashier was putting souvenir cups together and putting the straws in them with her bare hands (should of been wearing gloves) we saw this and left the Cafe. Our experience was great but could have been better. We will come back to the animals.

Have been to many of the zoo's throughout the US and this has become our favorite! At the end of our 1st visit we bought memberships and going back regularly. Love the layout of the animals and allows you to feel like you are up close and personal. The animals all look so healthy and happy with their unique enclosures. Even on a cooler cloudy day, the zoo is a great place to visit and enjoy a walk. A must go for everyone, it won't disappoint.

So fun! We thought we were done in 2 hours then quickly realized we missed a whole section of the zoo in the back with elephant and rhino and more! We will definitely be back.P.s. - $5 for parking unless you're a member!

What an amazing zoo! My toddler loved that for many of the animals there were multiple views you could look through to see them! There were many cool activities throughout the zoo which made the experience even better! We will definitely be going back!

Great place to take your kids of any age! Yes some days the animals are hiding and you don’t see much but other days they are out and about it’s amazing to see! Some times they even have zoo mascots come out and interact with the kids! I think the food is a bit pricey but overall a great zoo experience!

Stopped in Knoxville on the way back home from Panama City Beach Florida. I had my 12 year old daughter and her 2 friends, so we went to the zoo. They had a blast exploring the zoo and seeing all the different animals. They have a monkey enclosure and there was a baby monkey dancing and showing off for us. I would definitely recommend visiting if you get a chance. Also there is a lot to do around the city.

We love the Zoo! We are season pass holders if you are a family and plan on going more than once get the pass it’s totally worthy it. They have great events (Boo at the Zoo) and you can even get married there! I’ve officiated 3 weddings there. The staff is always friendly and willing to help you. They also have a great kids area with a sand pit, a little water feature (not together) and an aviary that you can going and touch the birds!

Nice selection of animals, it's nice how big the exhibits are. Just a lot of walking. As well as the gift shop was nice just seemed high price but still bought from. .kids enjoyed the zoo.

Absolutely beautiful zoo. It is kept very clean and the animals seem very well taken care of!! Also we visited the day after Tonka was euthanized. So sorry for your loss :(

Very clean. They have fun interacting animals And they also have extinct animals like this One that Is mixed with a Tiger bear and has horns on his head. And they're also coming out with a dinosaur Except they have fun interacting. Little rides for the kids like under 4 or 5 or 6. And you can put them on the little scooters that are shaped like animals and you can ride with them around in the park. They also have a petting zoo a playground and the sandbox for them. You should go.

I love my visit to this site! There is so much to see and do at this location. There’s no way I think anyone could hike it all in one day. Is you like to hike and be in nature, this is a great place to do it. The only reason I am not giving this place 5 stars is because of how hard it is to navigate around the center and on the hiking trails. All the different trails are not clearly marked, and it can get easy to get turned around. I definitely recommend buying a guide map for $1 in the visitor’s center and keeping it with you, because even the map can be a little confusing. As long as you keep your wits and have a good sense of direction you’ll be fine. It’s well worth the visit!

A friend recommended this was a must and they were so right! Such a beautiful place to escape it all. Short drive from downtown and amazing trails and views! This is a must!

We hiked the Tower Trail which leads to the River Trail and back to the center, in total about a 1 mile hike. There are some steep spots on this trail, including some steep stairs. Once you get to the river, it is beautiful.Nature Center building has some exhibits as well as a gift shop. It looks like there might also be meeting rooms.They have a calendar full of fun activities. We got to enjoy some bluegrass music in the afternoon.Restroom was clean.Definitely recommend, especially if you like to hike.If you deem this review helpful please give it a 👍.

Ijams nature center has something for everyone. For this review I am discussing Meades Quarry. The park roped off a section for privacy during the wedding I was performing. The only sad thing was the trash floating in the water. Go visit and please respect the space.

Very nice place for a nature hike. They have added so much to this place over the years it's amazing. Tons of trails. Amazing play structures. Kayak rental, treetop rope course, and so much more. Beautiful views, if you are a nature lover or looking to teach your kids more about the great outdoors it's a wonderful place to visit. Very helpful staff also and if you are just looking to hike it's free but they do accept donations to help run the place. They also have a nice little gift shop here.

Nice place with nature surrounding. The admission is free. There is visitor center located here with gift shop, exhibit and restrooms available. Plenty of parking space available. There are several trails available here some offering lake and River views. There are couple of ponds. One of best hike would be to take storybook trail and then take north cove trail. Continue on north cove trail to river trail or river boardwalk trail. One will get to see some beautiful view of the river from the boardwalk. You can then either return back or continue further to take tower trail to return back to visitor center. Overall a nice nature place to spend few hours around.

Fun nature center. We only did the riverwalk/tower hike, but there are many more trails to explore. Also you can rent a variety of boats to use on the river. Friendly/helpful staff. Please note: trails are not well marked, so just keep google maps open/active to make sure you are going the right way.

Having only spent one night in Knoxville, I decided to make this one of the few places to check out. I have to say, the pictures don't do this place justice! It is absolutely stunning! The nature center is small, but they do have some cool exhibits. $5 gets you 12 hours of parking, which is reasonable. This place will get busy, even on a weekday morning, so try to come early if you can. It also gets muggy/humid in the summer and you will want to put on some bug spray. The best trails are going to be the river trail, which will give you the views with the boardwalk, and the keyhole loop. The keyhole will give you the views of the old quarry. You will also want to check out the pink marble and Tharp trace trails as these also give outstanding views.

A Knoxville gem!Ijams is a part of the Knoxville Urban Wilderness and a true gem within city limits. It resides on something like 300 acres off of a narrow, winding road in south Knoxville.There are a handful of trails and outdoor events for families and individuals and a variety of playgrounds for kids.The gift shop offers snacks, outdoor necessities, and local products.While you’re here, check out the indoor exhibit with the turtles, then hit the trail for some fresh air and the secret pond.

Great place for a day out with the family and kids. Nice walking trails and interpretive centre with hands on activities for kids. Nice escape from the city with plenty of wilderness. Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy the outdoors.

On of the best hikes of my life. Clearly lots of love and care have been continually put into this place. Incredibly clean and well maintained. I wish I lived closer!

8.30.23 Parking is free. Exploring the nature center is free. Walking the river boardwalk is free. Renting a SUP paddleboard is $15 and a float/tube is $5 in the Quarry area. This is a beautiful and peaceful place. If you love nature or want a place to relax, this is your spot.

Spending a few days in Knoxville for the first time and ijams was probably one of the most recommended activities. It did not disappoint. SO many trails. Very nice views of the Tennessee River and Mead Quarry Lake. Multiple places to put in boats. Some cool animal exhibits at the visitor center. People were very helpful in advising which trails to take. Definitely check it out if you're looking for an outdoor activity in the Knoxville area.

So many trails and we only went on a couple! The Keyhole was really cool and not too far from the parking area. The staff at the welcome center were very helpful and friendly too. Definitely worth a trip back to see more.

This very beautiful place is going to make your visit more memorable with the friendliness and genuine serving attitude of the staffs. They are really suitable for this job. The lady I met in the information table was consistently helpful and friendly as I have seen her talk to several new visitors including ofcourse myself.Huge place but properly maintained. There are various parts of this big land so make sure you plan your way. A certain portion was closed when I went due to the falling rocks from the mountain whose video even went viral as some people were able to witness it live.Bathroom and filtered water available at the Visitor’s Center and even a free wifi

Ijams is a wonderful space that's free to visit located right on the border of Knoxville. All I did during my visit was walk the river trail and added a few of the shorter trails on as I wandered around the grounds. There's climbing, a canopy adventure area, kayak rentals, and children's activities. If you're just passing through like I was, this is somewhere I'd highly recommend even if it's just to stretch your legs. The grounds and trails are very well maintained and bathrooms were clean.

What a gem this place is. We finished visiting the Knoxville Botanical gardens quicker than expected. I had this marked on the map and took a chance. This was a highlight of our trip. Definitely take the Riverwalk / board walk. the amount of spring flowers in bloom was amazing, trilliums covered the hillsides. The river walk had a feature we've never seen before, a geologic fold. that was an amazing thing to see first hand. If we lived nearby, we would definitely be checking out all the many trails.

Being new to Knox, this place is beautiful. FIDO friendly, lots to do for all ages. Great hiking or just perfect is you want to walk around and look at all of the beautiful animals, sitting areas or if you want adventure, you can visit the zip line. Beautiful walkway around the water. This is a must see if you are in the Knox area.

Was looking for a hike near knoxville so we didn't have to drive all the way down to the smokey mountains and this didn't disappoint!The attendant was superhelpful, the sights were incredible, and the trails we went on were well taken care of.

Definitely worth the visit if you are in Knoxville. For me, the river boardwalk trail is a unique element. You need to hike a trail down hill to get to the boardwalk, and it's worth it. Admission is free, but there is a charge for parking ($5). There are other trails around the main office. For me, the scenery around the quarry was not as appealing, but I hear there are several trails around the quarry (which I did not walk) that are nice. There are also boat activities on the quarry, which were not in operation when I visited (late March).

All-time favorite hiking location near downtown Knoxville! I’ve been coming here for years, just exploring around, and continue to be amazed each time. I highly recommend going to the Nature Center to pick up a map first, as there’s so much to see. Each trail has an incredibly cool feature on it, and some trails took me years to find. Some are paved or have gravel, while others are full-on hikes. There are two locations to park at - the nature center, which has most of the shorter hikes, most with pavement or gravel, plus high ropes course (the Navitat). Or at the quarry down the road on the opposite side, which has the quarry/water, longer hikes, two hidden quarries behind the main one, mountain biking, natural rock climbing, etc. They just recently started charging for parking, but only a couple of bucks. Very dog and family friendly!

Beautiful place to visit. Nice walking along the river, seeing the boats and kayaks go buy. The wildlife all around. Love being so connected to nature. Trails are well kept. Peaceful and quiet. Very enjoyable, easy walk.

Last visited 2/15/24. Decided to stop in and see what the River Landing Walk was like. Wife and I had a great time just puttering around and enjoying the nice day.

Went bike riding. Rented bikes from the park and helmets. The trail starts in the middle so you can take one and come back then take the other and come back. Has some nice hills to go down but riding back up is tough. Trails are concrete and shared with walkers. Be sure to yell which side you are coming up on the walker so they can move over. Beautiful ride. Great exercise. Have fun. Went on a Sunday. Get there before lunch and their were maybe 8 bikes for rent. When we got back from our ride, they were all out. You have to pay for parking. It's like $12-$15 for the whole day.

A wonderful nature center with multiple trails, some paved and others not paved.We really enjoyed the River Trail.Main building and paved trails appear to be wheelchair accessible. All other trails do not appear to be wheelchair accessible.

Great hiking spot in the Knoxville area. Great tree coverage to keep you cool while you sweat like crazy 😅The hiking trails aren't too strenuous however both trails have quite an incline and it does have a whole bunch of rocks, so make sure to wear hiking boots or shoes.Both trails are short but they're both beautiful and the views are great as well. It's usually quiet here so let's keep it that way 🤫

Steep ascend/descend, but it's only about quarter mile on either side. Nice view and plenty of signs on the loop to let you know how far you've traveled. The boy scouts left a bench on the west side of the trail that's good to grab a smoke or lunch. East side of the trail has better panoramas.

Great trail up the mountain. It is quite a hike to get to the top. Not overall difficult, and the trail is mostly family friendly and safe. About a mile to top going up either direction. I recommend to head up one trail and down the other to get the full experience. Bring waters and some snacks to keep you going. Once to the top some great views where you are allowed to go, and better views where your not supposed to be.

Great hike close to Knoxville! Depending on the trail, it’s moderate, but not insanely long of a hike in comparison to some Smokey mtn trails. Highly recommend doing this when it hasn’t been raining, and make sure to walk the spine of the mountain when you get up there, but also take a breather at the lookout point as soon as you hit the top. This isn’t the best location if you’re looking for vast overlooks of mountain chains, but is if you’re looking for some exercise that will only take a portion of the day - I hiked to the top in 45 minutes going fast.If they run out of parking at the trailhead or you want to elongate the hike a little bit, there’s an overflow parking lot down the road that adds a few minutes to the hike, but it’s incredibly reasonable and easy to get to the connecting point

The trail across the top from one lookout to the other is great. The trails up and down are quite steep and there are lots of washouts and slippery areas. Pay attention and you should be fine. There is also lots of poison oak to be on the lookout for. The views from the top are great.

This was our first visit and this was a tough one for us! We went up the East trail and I'm not sure how my 6 year old made it but I'm super proud. I only made it because I didn't want to be beat by her and made fun of on the way home. The top of the mountain was gorgeous and had great views! We considered camping at the top or calling a helicopter to rescue us but we trudged on. We came down the West trail which was a heck of alot easier! Basically just a gravel road....we of course went up the extremely rugged path..Wish we had started that way... took us 6 hours for a little over 2 mile round trip hike.... lots of laughing, breaks to catch our breath, prayers and alot of crying hahaha.Overall, we had a great trip and everyone on the trail were very kind. Just take the West trail if it's your first time.... I promise you will thank me.

Excellent place to take a short hike. Some of the trail is steep and can be a little rough if you are not used to steep, rocky climbs. Be careful of poison ivy. There was a lot of it on the trail.

Definitely a good trail if you are wanting a workout. Not a great trail for scenic views. First mile is pretty much all incline. Lots of rocky areas and trail is narrow in many spots due to erosion.

Fun hike and beautiful area! Don’t be fooled by the short distance to the lookout. The hike is pretty much straight up. My 3 year old struggled but my 6 year old could handle the hike.Plenty of parking, restrooms and pavilion.

If you're looking for a somewhat challenging hike, this is it! We really enjoyed it, but here is what I think is important to know: It's fairly steep and the terrain is rocky. It isn't well maintained, so there were times when we wondered if we were still on the trail. We saw quite a bit of poison ivy that would be really easy to brush up against if you're not paying attention because it's right up to the edge of the trail. I'd hesitate to bring children on this hike, but we did see families there. The view is nice, enjoy!

Gorgeous view! It was a steep climb but not too long. On the way we saw an owl and plenty of interesting insects and fungi. Add a Gorgeous wife to that you have the recipe of a perfect hiking experience!

Super cute vistor center in Townsend, TN! The quilts show from the local Quilting Guild was very well done. The workmanship was phenomenal. The gift shop was fantastic with great gift ideas and high-quality products. The staff was very friendly and so talkative. We will be back next time we are on the peaceful side of the mountains.

First time to the Big foot Festival!! So much going on. Lots of skilled vendors and tons of food vendors. And the guest are pretty cool. But if you wanna meet them u better come EARLY. ITS A LOOOONG WAIT.

Always something new to discover at the Townsend Visitors Center!! The exhibitions I’ve seen there are always fascinating and always with local artisans.The festivals I’ve had the good fortune to attend are well organized and fun! This Center is a wonderful asset to my favorite eclectic town on the Peaceful Side of the Smokies!The restrooms are kept neat and clean for that last minute refreshing break before hitting SMNP. The staff is knowledgeable about local trails, Townsend attractions and of course Smoky Mountain NP!!

Such a cute place. I visited both on arrival and departure . I was able to grab all my travel booklets for activity planning and souvenirs like mugs, stickers, and shirts. In the back, are picnic tables with lovely little view of the mountains. Nice place for a sit down or maybe picnic. You can also get the parking pass and I recommend getting the peaceful side of the smokies passport. Had lots of fun in this adorable little town! Thanks.

Really nice gift shop with quality Townsend gear! The grounds are also GORGEOUS for festivals. The Highland Games were amazing!

We always stop here when we visit Townsend. You can be sure to find great souvenirs and interesting books about the area. We love reading the history of the people who lived in Cades Cove which is just about 20 minutes from here. The staff are always friendly and have many interesting stories to share. Be sure to ask about local events, and pick up some of their free literature. It's a great resource for finding things to do.

The Townsend Visitors Center is a great place to gather information on things to do in the Smokies. The staff are wonderful, so helpful! The building and grounds are clean and well-maintained. This weekend's balloon festival was so much fun!

Nice visitors center located right outside the park in Townsend, TN. There’s a room inside their building displayed with beautiful handmade quilts by the Foothills Quilters Guild.You can also pick up a valid parking tag to enter the park.

I stop here every time I go to Townsend. They're really good about knowing what trails are open and closed, and letting you know what to expect hiking that day. I'm sure they know lots more, but that's usually what I ask about before hiking. Everyone is really nice and helpful, and sometimes you learn things about the area you never knew before. There are all kinds of souvenirs, t-shirts, hats, stuffed animals, books, maps, and other things as well. Definitely worth stopping by.

My wife and I went tubing here for the day and it was a great experience. There are two separate outposts, and you can do both (and you might as well because you pay for it) and they're within a mile of each other. Definitely kid friendly and even pet friendly (you can put your dog in a special tube if you want) the staff were very cheerful and helpful as well. If you make a reservation online you will save approximately $5 per person. The main stretch takes about 2 hours to float down the river from start to finish while the second one is only about an hour. (2 miles, and one mile, respectively). Highly recommend if your on vacation or even just a relaxing day on the river. You need to either bring water shoes with you or purchase a pair there because when the water is low you have get out of your tube and walk short distances on slippery rocks. I would also recommend bringing a long walking stick or buying one there to help push off rocks if you get stuck. Overall has a great time here would definitely recommend.

We had a great time, water was cold but felt good to me with the heat, very clean facility. Easy and quick pick up at the end of ride so you can go again. Price was awesome, would suggest getting one of the paddles to help you control your tube, can't take anything as far as ice chest is just you on a tube that has 2 handles and the life jacket they require you have, you don't have to wear it but have to keep it with you.

Took a large group of 14 ages 5-69! Water was low so some of us went slower and got stuck on rocks, but overall very fun time! Point A is for all family and has a spot to stop and jump off rocks for those brave enough to do so! Very busy, so don't go if you want a serene float down river. Point B has more rapids and is shorter but with low water it was difficult to navigate. Would try again when water is at normal level. More peaceful because less people on river. Float by lots of busy campgrounds and people are in water having fun, but still peaceful. Cost is very reasonable for all day adventure, but make sure to purchase prior to visit.

We had a blast! We went down the family friendly side with my family and we all had a great time. I highly suggest to buy a stick or paddle, it helped us several times. Sometimes the water is very low and you get a little stuck within the rocks and need a little push, or you might come to an area that the water is not moving as much and need an extra little push with the paddle. In the area where the rocks are for you to jump off, keep a close eye on your tubes. We had an extremely rude grown man take our tubes after I repeatedly told him it was my husband and sons, he did not care and walked over me and stole them from us. It might be helpful to have staff keep an eye on this area as I felt very uncomfortable having a grown man walk over me and take my belongings.

This 2as one of our absolute favorite things too do... We would have done it a 2nd time if we hadn't already made plans for something else.. it was awesome, beautiful views.. calm floating and then several awesome rapids, definitely plan on getting wet... I recommend getting a paddle or stick.. 10 out of 10 of things to do on Vaca!! Definitely bring a bad to keep your items dry, plenty of calm rafting for pics.. we might go back and bring the dogs🐶❤️..

Even with a long line and humidity, wait time moved along quickly and we were greeted with a cold water hose and friendly staff. Perfect place to experience Tennessee with family visiting from out of state. Found our new favorite place in the warmer months. We will for sure be coming back.

Great place for family's to have a good time. There was a food truck available to get some snacks with a little picnic area to sit. The store had sunscreen, hats and water shoes available to purchase should you need them. All the staff was very helpful and friendly. The process to buy tickets was quick and easy. Everyone in the group had a blast.

Outstanding service from ALL employees, beginning to end.No need to buy trip needs from Walmart etc... not only is trip reasonably priced, buy shoes, oar for pushing, dry bags, all competitive prices, they don't trap you at last minute for buying there.Do not fret crowds, always looked packed when we drove by, we live here, but finally decided to try it with grandchildren visit, looks crowded, is not, plenty of parking, fast moving ticketing, life vest dressing (no add charge), tube and river entry. Crowd breaks up and go at your own pace. All this at july 4 week... wish we had gone sooner.

River tubing was an absolute blast! Outpost A took about 2 hours and was pretty smooth except for a few bumpy parts. Outpost B took about an hour but had more intense rapids. I highly recommend getting a push stick to help you along the river (they sell them for $7 in the gift shop). Also highly recommend a waterproof phone pouch to take on the river with you

Really fun for all! Came with my 5 year old nephew. We did outpost A & B. A is more calmer waters & B is more rapids and way shorter float time. You pay for both though. PAY IN ADVANCE ONLINE. They sell out fast and you will have to wait. The whole thing last about 2-4 hours. Pretty views. Check the website for water levels because we went when the water was average and there were spots we had to get out and walk or we got stuck. They sold “push sticks” and paddles for this reason. So if water is super low it may not be the best time to go. Plenty of spots to swim and there is a really good burger restaurant next to outpost B ! Check it out!

This was our second visit and so worth it. One of my favorites. Great family experience for all ages. Staff is very friendly and a very organized process, all the working parts move smoothly. Recommend booking online and at least a day in advance. Will save you money and guarantee you will have a spot. We booked the day of on our most recent trip and we were still able to get our group of 8 but it is extra per person to book the day of. The scenery is beautiful and a nice mix of lazy, chill floating and other areas that move faster and a little bumpy. The water is cold but very refreshing! About half way down the river is a neat spot to stop and there is a deep hole where they have installed a ladder on a piece of rock. You can climb out and jump in. Nice bit of adventure along the way. There are picnic tables you could pack a lunch and eat on the property before or after you float down the river. The grounds are surrounded by beautiful mountain views and everything is kept very clean. The shop items are very reasonably priced for water shoes, paddles and sticks to use while you tube if you forget to bring any items. Life jackets are provided for all sizes. There are changing rooms as well. You could make a whole day of it if you wanted. Between both our trips we had my 3 sons, my nephew and nieces between ages 5-16 and they all thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

This was soooo much fun and such great value for money!! We purchased the tickets in advance and this helped us save about $10 per ticket and also helped us keep our appointment time (others were asked to come back 1.5hrs later as slots was completely booked). There is ample parking space and restrooms/changing rooms in both outposts A and B.We went on a holiday so the queue to check in was really long. We realize later that there is also a check in at outpost B that is relatively less crowded.Outpost B is a shorter route and definitely more adventurous with 3 amazing rapids. It is less crowded than Outpost A which is more popular, longer, has many smaller rapids and the rock jumps. We started with outpost B (went through it twice) and then went to outpost A.Having a stick really helps push yourself in the calm waters! Happy tubing.. we would love to come back here someday.

The float was nice, except for the fact that the current is not strong enough to keep you moving if the water level is "average". My group was perfectly capable of getting ourselves downstream, but anyone who cannot easily get themselves in and up from the float should not be allowed to go. Our group had to help 3 separate older people get to the exit. They were unable to move because the water wasn't flowing in some areas and they were trapped. Two people were pushed from about halfway and another was helped from the end to the exit. One of the people had previously suffered strokes and his left side was limp for the most part. Why on earth would they allow someone to go if it puts them and anyone helping them in danger.?. They need safety precautions in place and to ensure those going understand they need to be strong enough to get themselves downstream in some areas.

Such a fun experience! Our Guide Liam was super awesome he gave us the best white water rafting experience! Would go back again!

Great time. We did upper river. Rapids were perfect excitement and we did a Cabana that was a fabulous option although we did not use it much. It was great to have it to come back to after being on the river all day. Would definitely do this adventure again.

Great place to take a bunch of 16 year old boys. Loved that they gave the option of paying $30 per room to add the extra hour after the normal 10pm close time. Gave more time for the slides since there were less folks around. The ropes coarse and mini golf were good but the rest was really for smaller ones. Arcade was a little expensive. The ladies at the arcade restaurant were great though. Very sweet and a lot less wait time. Had pretty much everything any. Other snack place had, even brews. The only complaint was the smell of our villa, which was the basic one. It smelled like urine. immaculate looking house very close to the next house(villas). The villa had pretty much all, pots dinner plates, saucers, silverware and spatulas and knifes. Just needed drinks and foods you want and we were set. They did have dish washing powder and liquid for sink and paper towels.

Great place to stay! My only issues would be that the beds are not that comfortable and the elevator wait time is a little long. I would definitely go back though. The amenities are top notch and the food and costumer service are excellent. The staff are very polite and helpful.

My family and I stayed for 3 nights and had a lot of fun with the water park. The rooms were actually pretty nice considering other water resorts we’ve stayed at. Besides checking in, the service wasn’t very great. I’d say that 90% of the workers were very unfriendly and housekeeping wouldn’t take my trash. She asked me to throw it away myself.I’ve worked in the service industry before, so I know there’s something going on with upper management if the workers are unhappy and unfriendly. Either they are being worked too much or they aren’t getting paid enough. Management might want to look into why their workers are so unhappy.My other complaint is the pricing of the food. I understand that resorts are going to be higher priced than normal, but for those prices the food should be amazing and it’s subpar. Also, the arcade room needs AC as well as the rest of the building. It’s August. My family shouldn’t be sweating inside the building.

My family and I stayed at the new villas which were perfect for us. Spacious, fully furnished, private, and had a game room that the kids enjoyed. We rented out cabanas and Robert took great care of us. We also had the best Cabana host, I can’t think of her name but shes from Jamaica, has light brown hair, with glasses. Loved her!! Overall we had a blast!! No complaints

Wonderful experience and a place worth visiting if you enjoy Waterparks. Parking and checking in was a piece of cake. Convenient room key wrist band as well as optional money resource to keep you from packing loose cash n wallets that could be lost or stolen. The water in the wave pool was a bit on the cold side for indoors. However, the water for the slides was like bathwater and very enjoyable. The slides were enjoyable for both young n old. They didn't beat you to death! Most anything you could think of coffee games snakes meals all available at arms reach at the hotel! Great overall experience!

Room was dirty. Dead bugs by the patio door. Patio screen wouldn’t open. Coffee pot had mold growing in it. Bathroom was a mess and in disrepair. House keeping came into the room unannounced on Friday after check in while my daughter was changing. They came in again as we were taking luggage out to the car. Checkout time is 11 we found them turning our room over at 10, with our belongings in there. Overall service was poor. Amenities for the kids is great, but not worth the price due to cleanliness and service.

We stayed here for the second time on 01/13/2024 and had wonderful time. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. I loved everything about this place but I do want to point out the new lazy river does need some improvements. I believe it could use some slowing down on the part where you are to enter and exit the ride due to the water is very fast and almost can push you if you’re not a bigger person. We noticed there wasn’t much of a light show either as advertised. Overall we enjoyed our stay and all the staff were nice and lifeguards were very observant. We also loved getting frozen yogurt and the Firefly restaurant. Drinks at the restaurant were delicious. We’re very much looking forward to coming back in a few months!

I have been here multiple times, as my kids love swimming. The staff are kind and the facilities are okay and convincingly fine, but there are too many people. Especially in the case of spas, there are so many people that there is no room to step on if I exaggerate a little and the water is dirty. I recommend coming here when it's not crowded.

We have stayed at this resort many times over the years and our children fully enjoy the water park. However, this year instead of booking through the Wyndham portion of the resort we booked through the regular desk. Because we have a large family and we’re coming to celebrate our grandsons birthday we booked not one but 3 rooms. The total accommodation would be for 15 people. Each of the 3 rooms had a rate that was based on 1-4 people before the price would increase per person ( an additional fee of $30 per person)This would mean with 4 people per room you would receive 4 water park wristbands per room. Upon arrival , we were informed we could only have a total of 5 wristbands. It seems to be simple math that 3 rooms x 4 bands per room is 12 wristbands before you begin to pay for additional people. We were perfectly willing to pay for the additional people above 12. Samatha , the front desk manager, explained that because we scheduled all 3 rooms on the same booking it reduced the number of wristbands included. This just doesn’t make sense to meIn any way. Purchasing more rooms shouldLead to an increased benefit, not a decreased benefit. I’m disappointed to say after many years of family and business trips, and our daughter even having worked here during her college years, this utter ridiculousness has caused this to be our last stay here. I would love for upper management to offer a valid reason for such an illogical business practice. May 17-19 2024

This was my family and I first time visiting this establishment it was awesome. My kids loved every minute of it. The rooms are nice, cozy, and clean. The only update they needed are the shower heads need to be changed out. I wouldn't say the restaurants are too costly inside of the establishments ( I have a family of five and we spend on average $60 a meal) because the food was more than enough and taste really good none of that microwavable mess everything was fresh homemade. They have a Starbucks, 4 different restaurants, 3 stores and they had plenty of activities for the kids as well as adults. The only downside is I don't know if it's because it's not quite summer time yet. But the outside pool closed a little early 6 p.m. and the inside pool stays open till 10 pm. Okay so customer service was friendly, but the front desk lady named Toni. She was a little too straight to the point have your I.D. ready in your hand okay you're done they will text you with your room number. I informed her this was my first time visiting. She did not give me a map or say hey will let me tell you a little about our establishment none of that. I just think that she may need to go to a customer service class because she's representing her establishment first. Note I did have other family members there and they received the five-star treatment at the customer service desk. Again I really love this establishment this was my only downfall. And I would never down talk anyone visiting.

Well this place is pretty awesome. 2 adults, 2 kids stayed 3 nights and it ended up costing about $ told including food. I love the wristband as the room key and used it to pay for everything. Our room was one with a kitchen and while it was nice it wasn’t quite spacious enough. To open the Murphy bed and use the pull out couch we had to move everything in the kitchen. There was nowhere to put our bags besides the table tops and the chairs. Overall for the price of the room I was pleased though. The water park was awesome. Very friendly staff and everything seemed pretty well kept. Plan on keeping the weight off climbing the stairs for the slides. The climbing course, arcade, mini golf, and climbing wall were also great additions, however not too cheap. Use the deals they have for credits. Overall very happy with our stay. Thank you.

We come here every spring, and I can not say enough about how much we love it here! This place is always amazingly clean and the staff is very friendly. Which I feel is a tall order for a resort centered around water parks, with so many rooms, and the large majority full of children. We didn't hear any noise from our rooms, running jumping, laughing, or yelling. They must have extra soundproofing. We stay in upscale hotels and can hear the people in adjoining rooms and kids jumping upstairs. This place has good food, beverages, and an arcade to keep everybody entertained. And they don't leave out adults. Live music by Hayden Wright was fantastic, and plenty of drink options. Well done Wilderness!!

Reserved a two night stay with the kids. Upon arrival was notified that reservation for today was cancelled without notification, and the deposit was transferred to tomorrow’s reservation. They only have me for tomorrow. Now after Midnight, time when all the hotels in the area are fully booked I am left in the car with no hotel room and five kids wanting to sleep and no place to go. How great is that. I paid the deposit around 500$ for “no room available” two days prior to arrival. If there is no place to stay today, obviously I cannot keep tomorrow’s reservation. They ruined my vacation.

This place is awesome, we have stayed twice now and they are incredible to deal with. I want to shout out Madison, Lisa, Taylor and Samantha, these ladies are incredible at their job and do a fantastic job. We had a problem and they were fast and effective at resolving the issue. I just want to say thanks my birthday was awesome because of them.

The rooms are nice. Fairly clean. The “update” went over the promised 90 minutes even though we were very clear at the beginning that we had no intention of buying.Water park is great. It would be nice if they turned off the music temporarily during thunderstorm closures so that we can enjoy the storm without the extra noise.

We stayed in the Wyndham time share condos, and loved it! We had space and were able to cook, do laundry, take a nice bath, and all around enjoyed our time. There was construction going on during our stay, which was a bummer, but I'm hopeful it will be worth it when finished. The surrounding areas are pretty touristy and it would be nice to have more parks or things near or around. We will be back and excited to see the new changes.

We stayed here for the first time and had a blast. We went mid week and there where no lines for any of the slides. We had lots of fun doing the boogie boarding on the surf machine and enjoyed lounging in the hot tub and basketball in the pool.We got the kids (5 & 7) the adventure stay pass. They had fun doing the ropes coarse climbing in the arcade. And my son did the climbing wall. The rest of the others things were not very impressive. We won't be paying to get the pass again.The room was nice with a full kitchen. Service was not quite as expected. Any time we called to get more of something (Towels, dishwasher detergent, sheets/blankets) it would take a very long time and what they brought would not even be correct. We had to call back one or two more times for them to actually get it right. It was kind of bizarre how it kept happening every single time we needed something.Overall we had a great time and would recommend this place to friends. We will probably go back at some point in the future.

My experience was amazing! My children enjoyed there self and so did I. The only thing I didn’t like was the elevator kept being out of service and I was expecting to do my laundry but the laundry was out of service as well. A lot of activities to do in the area as well.Overall I enjoyed my stay and will return in the future!

I recently stayed here and I had accidentally left my brand new shoes in a drawer went back after checking out and waited 2+ hours just so they could tell me sorry but nothing was turned in the lost and found so in that case whoever they have as cleaners must have stole the shoes and not turned them in as suppose to resulting in not doing their jobs correct. They made me fill out a lost and found report but didn’t seem to care brushed it off instead of looking into who cleaned the day I checked out and question as to why it wasn’t turned in. So if you plan to stay here make sure you don’t leave any expensive valuables/Items because they most likely won’t care or look into. I think it could have been such a simple situation to look into since it had just been a day from checking out of the room but staff seem not to care since they don’t loose nothing.

I would definitely recommend staying in the nicer options on the resort. The wilderness is definitely not worth the money. It seems it hasn’t been updated since it open with the resort. The room was very tight with a god awful bathroom that only had one light, plus only one rod to hold your towels. The water would leak all over the floor as well. Black spots in the corners of the bathroom as well, didn’t even want to investigate it because it just seemed like something I shouldn’t touch. The beds weren’t comfortable at all, the comfort I could compare them to are the beds from my freshman year college dormitory. The hallways were disgusting during my whole stay (four days), basically other guest would treat the hallways like it was a public trash can. When we arrived they had no dollies to put our luggage on, we were told we had to find them ourselves if we didn’t see any in the lobby, which we never did. I search for one for about 30 minutes and couldn’t find one to save my life. I was livid due the fact my mother and father had terrible back and leg pain.I give this place a 2 because it at least has a Starbucks and a decent little bar to forget about how terrible and run down the rest of this place is.Staying here makes sense if you’re on a budget, but to be honest if you really want a safe and comfortable experience this particular hotel at the resort isn’t worth it at all.

The customer service here was immaculate!!! Ms.Toni was very friendly and so were the other ladies. Southern hospitality at its finest. Our room 23040 was updated nice and clean. No complaints whatsoever. However, our upstairs neighbors were sooooooo noisy I had to call the front desk. We definitely didn’t get a goods night sleep but it didn’t ruin our stay. Will definitely revisit when it’s warmer and everything is open !!

We came for my five year olds birthday and he loved it. The indoor park wasn’t as big as I thought, but it was fine. No hot tubs that I could see.The food is the biggest complaint. The only thing I would order is the pizza. The snacks are overpriced for what they are. The breakfast was by far the worst. Paid 80$ for our family to do the buffet. It consisted of frozen cinnamon rolls, pop tarts, and cereal. You get a better variety at the holiday inn. And better quality.The rooms were clean and fun for the kids (bunk beds! Woo!)I’d do it again but I’d make a point to bring my own snacks and only eat their pizza.

Great service and rooms are clean, attractive, and comfortable. We had a 2 bedroom with a balcony. The kitchen is well appointed. Many activities and an indoor and outdoor water park for all ages. Close to many attractions and a short distance to the Great Smokey Mountains National Park. Perfect vacation stay.

This place was amazing! We want to come back and stay longer. I’d say you should do a minimum of 3 days, but 4-5 would be better, especially if you want to do non-resort things.The lifeguards are diligent and fair. The wave pools are definitely rough without much of an “easy mode,” but everything is perfect.Our room had a few minor oddities- toilet needed re-siliconed to the floor, the bathroom light flickered a time or two when it first came on, the light switches were a bit weird in their placement, and the dishwasher was missing 5 of 8 wheels on the bottom rack. It could probably use a new toilet seat.But it was awesome!

This use to be a place we loved to visit often, but this time was so disappointing. The room wasn't as clean as they use to be. There was food under the table with a trail of ants going to it. We checked in looking forward to enjoying the dinner buffet ( one of our favorite) but to our surprise it was replaced with a taco/pizza courtyard that was way over priced and the food was horrible. We paid $12 for 2 tacos!!! No real variety on food choices now without having to leave and drive into PF to find decent food.

We had the queen Murphy room at the stone Hill lodge, which is the building the indoor water park is in. Like the name says, there is a queen Murphy bed and a sofa bed that's about full size. This room has the full kitchen and no balcony. 3 of us stayed here, and it was pretty tight trying to get from one area of the room to the next. As always, our stay was fun, with no issues. I can't wait to come back when the updates are finished!

My family and I traveled 14 hours to support a family member in a sports event which was held in this location. My mom paid over $700 for two nights just to be harassed multiple times by the workers who were trying to sell us things like timeshares. They even called our room and we were bothered about 6 times in the 2 days that we were there. The room we stayed in itself was disgusting. There was hair on the shower wall, it smelled awful, there were barely any outlets, it was dark and cold, when we got in the room the temperature was set to 60 degrees Fahrenheit. When we got under the blankets the bed felt damp and the bed was extremely hard. Not to mention the leaking shower that would constantly be dripping and the flickering light that would take a few seconds to fully turn on. At the very end when we were packing up for our checkout which was at 11:00 a.m. , room service bothered us multiple times before we even checked out. The room service workers opened the door while my sister was changing. Then when we were leaving we saw the same thing happen to someone else, they do not make themselves known or at least if they try they don’t make themselves known enough to the point where you can’t even hear them knock so then they just open the door while people are still in the room. We are so happy that we got to see our family but our stay at this resort continued to get worse and worse and I am furious for my mom because she spent hundreds of dollars to come to this resort and was repaid with absolute trash and harassment and we traveled 14 hours to be there. This place is money hungry and disgusting and I will warn my friends and family to never go to this resort and we certainly will never be coming back.

This was probably one of the best vacations I’ve ever had the hotel was beautiful along with the other three every single day we would take a shuttle bus and go over to the big hotel with the waterslide and the arcade. Even in that building they had little shops, which were very convenient for when I got bored, this place is crazy kid friendly and they love everybody who comes in. I didn’t meet one rude person. There is a beautiful light show that they have. If you want to talk about the rooms they were very nice they would see and if you had a lot of people, you could buy a room to go beside it, which is very nice And this place was awesome. I loved it so much totally recommended and I have to drive eight hours and it was totally worth it.

It was great. The rooms were clean and nice when we came in, and it has one of the best indoor waterparks I've ever been in. I enjoyed my stay. I would like to note that some room's windows weren't really windows because they had a curtain or cover of some sort on the outside, so only sunlight was let in, and you couldn't look out.

Great place for a family! This is a great place for families with children. We loved it! Lots to do and the people that work here are great! Can’t say how happy I am with this place and being a great place for my family to enjoy. I highly recommend this place to anyone with kids. They are very accommodating to adults also. I hope we get to come back and I hope this place keeps up the good work.

Absolutely terrible. We had a two night stay and thankful it was only two nights. We were so excited after researching the website and looking at the hours of everything there we wanted to stay at the resort and not leave but that wasn't the case. Upon arrival we were told the rooftop bar and pool would be closed and that should have been our sign being that it's brand new. We had plans of what we were going to do and what we were going to eat according to the online menus that were completely misleading. We planned to have a steak night at the firefly grill one night did they have steak? Nope. Their menu consisted of a couple appetizers and a couple salads nothing like the menu online. So we went to the deli did they have what was on there menu also no. So then we went upstairs was gonna do the tacos didn't have those either and wasn't open like the website hours were. We ended up having to leave the resort both days just to find food because they had nothing or were closed when the website stated they would be open. Beyond disappointed by the stay and will not be back nor would recommend to any of our friends that were planning on staying. Our room was decent minus the fact the fridge leaked all in the floor and our sink didn't drain. All in all just skip this resort and save money and go elsewhere!

We had a wonderful time. I am very appreciative of the young lady at the Starbucks who took the time to show me the gluten free menu. All of the staff at the resort was very friendly, lifeguards very attentive and alert. The new lazy river is wonderful., the music was very cool! Clean, comfy rooms. Quick room service. Overall very pleased will be back!

Very fun place! Wish there were more food options - there were only milkshakes and pizza available and the pizza was very bland. Great for younger kids but maybe needs some more intense slides/activities for teens/young adults. The giant funnel slide was fantastic! I did think the frozen yogurt place inside the hotel was super cool, though, but we did not stay overnight, just came for the day, so food was much more limited.

Overall such a fun stay! The best part was definitely Tina at the front desk. She went absolutely above and beyond for my family and our stay. She is definitely a gem and such a hard working, amazing woman. So glad we got to meet her. The rooms were very large and the waterpark was amazing. 10/10 experience. Can't wait to go back!

Our stay is always awesome. The staff is great and its always so clean! Our kids love this place we try to go once a year. The added soaky passes at certain times is a great bonus. And being able to play at the Waterparks before and after check in is even better! Highly recommended to go and try it out!

My friend and I had a girls getaway. Courtney at the front desk set us up in the best room we could've asked for on our budget. Amazing girl, BTW. The park was awesome. Missed our on the opening of the roof top, but that will be for next time. The morning staff at the grill was a delightful experience. I'm glad to see the lifeguards to be very helpful and fun. Will return again with family to explore more.

This was first time at Wilderness. We booked a handicapped accessible room because we took my 98 year old mother. I was hoping for a walk-in shower but it was a regular tub/shower combo with a bathtub stool, grab-bar and a sink you could roll under. She was not able to get up in the tub because it was pretty high. I was a little disappointed with that. Other than that the room was comfy and clean. Also we asked at check in to be moved closer to family and they could not, would not accommodate us. When we go back again we will talk to a representative when we book so this can happen.

The beds are so hard! My kids were even complaining. They actually said the pull out couch bed was more comfortable than the actual beds. I asked for a mattress topper but they stated they did not have any of those and all their beds are the same. My kids did enjoy the pool, slides and arcade. It would be a fantastic place if they had softer beds. And the elevator at stone hill that only goes to the 1st floor was terrible, they need better access to the rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors.

We stayed here for my son's 14th birthday. Had a good time in the wave pool. The slides were pretty exciting but the five story climb to use them was more than I was interested in doing more than twice. You need to bring A LOT of extra money. We got three cheeseburgers and some bowling alley nachos for eighty dollars. Drinks from the machines are $3.50, they don't take cards or any bill larger than a one, and the staff isn't friendly about making change. It seemed like they were all about gouging you when you had no options, like bringing your own water bottles.

Sensory overload! I might have checked in during one of their busiest weekends of the year, President’s Day weekend on a Sunday. The lodging checkin was snaked throughout the lobby and after talking to staff it was like that starting on Thursday night. I reserved one of their premier double suites. They said it sleeps 15 but that includes couple pull out couches and Murphy bed with 4 queens and a twin bunk bed. The room itself was nice and plenty of room to spread out but thin walls. ASK for top floor as it seems most kids run like elephants down halls all hours of day. Also if you’re going in winter/indoor pool then request for room closest to pool. These hallways are like Vegas hotels 100+ yards long! Lots of walking. The indoor water park just added a water coaster and lazy river to their many slides, wave pool, water playground and hot tub. Great family fun in the winter for sure! Don’t forget the arcade and game area for another spot to let loose while dry!

Stayed Here with my brother and his faimly. I slept on the pull out sofa bed in room 11026 on 5/19-5/20. Unfortunately I woke up with bites on my legs, stomach and groin area. After close examination, I found multiple bed bugs on my body. One of my stomach and one on my inner thigh.The rooms were decent and affordable. Great to have access to the water park and local attractions. I enjoyed the stay, Just not happy with being feasted on while I slept, and having to pick bugs off me the next day.

This place is a great experience and I only give it 3 stars based on my personal preferences. If you are into Titanic history you will love this place. If you've seen the movie with Leo D. you will be able to relate a lot of the movie to the exhibits. Otherwise its a museum so there's stuff and things to look at and read which may be boring for some. They do give everyone a complimentary audio device to add to the experience in places throughout which allows a kid friendly version too. However if you're on the fence about bringing little kids I'd say wait until they are 8 and older. There are several very cool displays and original items. No photos are allowed at all on the first level. Tickets DO sell out so do reserve in advance, although we managed to purchase same day tix hours before. It was VERY crowded so pack your patience and expect to get in lots of short shuffling steps. If you are claustrophobic this is not the place for you. Overall the exhibit does a great job of memorializing the passengers who died and showing the scale of the ship and its luxury.

Had a great time here! It is a self guided tour with a little audio device to explain parts of the museum more which was nice. An employee did give a small presentation at the beginning of the tour and that was a nice treat as well. It wasn't too crowded when we went and we spent a couple of hours there. They have some artifacts and a lot of great photos to check out. You can only take pictures on the second floor of the tour. It was also 98% handicap accessible. My mom is a full time wheel chair user and the accessibility was great. The whole experience was awesome!

I've been to some of the traveling exhibitions, and they're always worth going to, but THIS one is the supreme! It was quite moving, very educational, and they seem to put a more personal touch on the experience, telling so many stories of the passengers and crew, you almost feel like you know them. It's kid-friendly, they even have interactive aspects and an audio tour just for them, and there's a whole area of fun learning tools and a HUGE Lego replica of the ship itself. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly, and there are many opportunities to take photos throughout the exhibit. Ticket prices are cheaper than some other things you can do in the area, and it would make for a great hiding-from-the-rain spot!

Such an interesting museum, you get a name of a passenger and through out the museum you see fun little facts about the passengers and their classes/rooms. It’s a guided tour, no photos allowed until after a certain area but that’s okay because it’s really enjoyable like this. I do recommend you buy tickets in advance as they sell out quickly when we arrived at 930AM we weren’t able to go in until the 7PM reservation. We were okay with this, but not a lot of people are aware.

Very well done interactive museum for both young adults and adults. Self guided pace to view each exhibit. The museum units visitors with those that were aboard the ship. You are able to stand aboard the deck, see the staterooms of all classes, feel the freezing water and sit inside a lifeboat. Gift shop was reasonably priced. Staff were well dressed and helpful.

The experience was great you get to see and some what feel how the people on the ship felt and did! There is some historical stuff and bits and pieces from the original Titanic!Everything was well kept and well organized!Parking was free and the atmosphere was as we were boarding the ship ! They made you feel as if you were there! Most of what we saw was as close as it can get to the original design! Well worth it, expect to spend at least 2 hours there! Photography is not allowed in most areas of the touring but they allow some photos to be taken in one area!

You have to get your tickets in advance and choose your time slot. We went here on a Tuesday at 10am. It wasn't very busy and we didn't have to wait in line to get in.I thought it was pretty cool they give you a ticket and you get to be a person from the actual ship. It's a self guided audio tour so you look for numbers in the museum and put them into your audio tour device. They also have a youth audio tour which is designed for children. My kids are 8 and 6. The 8 year old enjoyed it more than the 6 year old but every child is different.There's a lot to look at and read. You are not allowed to take pictures downstairs but after the grand staircase you can take pictures just remember to not use flash.All in all it was a great museum, very informative. The only thing I was missing were more things they actually found from the Titanic, like silverware or other personal things from the passengers.This museum is definitely for everyone who is interested in the Titanic and wants to learn more about it.

Please add an adults only option for your tours. It was absolute madness and I do not recommend going during times where children will be running around and screaming.The museum itself was really cool! I enjoyed the self guided tour and all the exhibits

This was a pretty good experience that wasn't too crowded even though it was a Saturday. We bought our tickets online through agoda which saved us some money. I found it kind of odd that they don't let you take pictures on the first floor. We almost didn't go due to the negative reviews but my husband talked me into going anyway and I'm glad we went. Lots of cool artifacts, information and lots of photographs. I thought it kind of morbid to purchase any souvenirs seeing as there were so many people that died...

This is a really nice museum, and we recommend getting tickets in advance. There was barely a wait when we scheduled our time. We were really impressed with how it moves through. They give each person a boarding card with your passenger's name and information, and you must look for any info throughout and at the end for that person. They also give each person a handheld listening device that is really nice. The kids will also have an interactive tour alongside you as you move throughout the museum.

This was a great museum to visit. There were loads of neat artifacts, tons of information and the personal touch of each visitor getting a real passenger on their "boarding pass." It was a coincidence that me and my boyfriend got husband and wife passengers! Even kids can enjoy this museum, as they have their own self guided tour as well. Highly recommend, especially this time of year while they are decorated for Christmas!

This museum was great! The staff were dressed in period attire, there were genuine artifacts from the wreckage, and many thoughtful recreations. The tour includes an audio guide that will lead you through the facilities without staff, which is a nice touch and allows self pacing.The site recommends buying tickets in advance and we found this a solid recommendation. They were very busy when we arrived and we had bought tickets in advance. If we had not, I don't believe we would have got in.The only thing preventing this museum from being a five star attraction was the crowds and pictures. You're not able to take pictures until over halfway into the museum and I found it disappointing. I'm not sure the point of this as all items that are from the wreckage are well protected, and you were allowed to take pictures of genuine items later. This leads me to believe it is to keep people moving, which goes into the next set back.This place was very busy. We had a hard time seeing some of the exhibits due to the amount of people they let in at one time. A lot of the museum was spent standing and waiting for our turn to look at stuff. There were many items that I just gave up on reading or taking photos of because there was a constant stream of people that lacked self awareness. They are already taking the time to limit entrance, and for such a small area, I think they should consider reducing this further to give guests a better experience. We went at 11 on a Tuesday, so I'm really not sure what else could be done to avoid the rush.All and all, very fun and educational. The facilities are beautiful and fun! Be prepared for large crowds and purchase tickets in advance to secure your spot.

Very nice museum! Good education. History is what makes us today. Thank you for creating such beauty. It was so surreal. I felt it in my bones. We were not rushed at all.

I would totally recommend. My family enjoyed the cleanliness of the museum. Everything was well organized. The staff when entering was welcoming. This is a self-guided tour however there is an audio device that provides additional information. At various location throughout the museum there are several tour guides providing information.

The museum has a lot of history and a lot of facts, however it should have be more fun. After an hour it gets monotone with all the information and the way it is presented. It could be more interactive.I liked that the entrance to the museum was going up the stairs. That was neat. I also enjoyed the section where you can feel the 28 degrees water. Also the actual replica of the ship was amazing to see from the outside.Overall the museum was alright. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Lots of fascination with the titanic, I really enjoyed this museum. They had it somewhat modeled after the real ship which was cool, nice to take a picture on the grand staircase. They give you boarding passes of real passengers so it was neat to check the memorial wall to see if we survived and then to go on and see what happened to us afterwards. Lots of interactive things and facts, good amount of actual artifacts from the real ship which was very cool. Would definitely recommend, I would say buy your tickets ahead of time as we got there expecting to just go in and had to purchase tickets to board and had to wait, it would have been at least two hours but we chose a later time and went and did other things while we waited.

When we reached the museum, it was closed. But the visitor center was opened. The museum is one of the largest permanent collections of Titanic artifacts and memorabilia. The visitor center also has a few collections. You can also enjoy the museum from the outside since it is lit up even after the closing hours. Next time we will definitely make time to visit the museum.

This was a great interactive museum for all ages. The audio tour aspect was. Major bonus. I loved the informational stories and the museums commitment to providing opportunities to people with disabilities. The staff was very friendly and well informed. I would definitely come back again.

We had a great experience with the Titanic Museum. I love how they hand you a card with a passenger that actually road on the Titanic. You travel through the floors with a phone recorder that can play certain areas marked with a number. The recorder plays the historical timeline and or interview of survivors or historians. In the end you can find your passengers name on a wall of survivors or those who perished. This was a remarkable way to remember this historic point in time. The facility was clean. The staff were helpful and polite. Very courteous staff.

I have always wanted to visit the Titanic Museum. And our family went on a mini vacation and stop by. It was amazing. We bought our tickets ahead of time for in the morning and there was no line. Each person got their name of a real person on the Titanic. At the end we find out if we survived or perished. Seeing all the artifacts and just all the pictures just hit really close to me. I recommend going.

The Museum should be called"Titanic and Olympic Museum." Many of the artifacts displayed are from the Olympic. Wish they had a replica of the Grand Staircase. My kids and wife had a great experience. The staff is very nice. 100% recommend.

This is my third Titanic Artifact Exhibit and I would have to say, it is the best of the 3. Having the interactive personal speakers made the experience more personal and meaningful. The kids even had there very own unique experience with their speakers.

This place was absolutely amazing, IInformative, and sobering to see how many lives were lost in the tragic sinking of this ship. So many amazing pieces of history from the actual titanic, and a very historically informing tour. My kids also found it very interesting and enlightening and asked many questions during and after about what happened. I highly recommend bringing your family here to learn about this historical event in our history.

A really cool semi-immersion experience, staff are great and in character! Certain rooms and halls are built to scale so you can experience how crammed the 3rd class quarters really were. There’s a ton of audio guided info in each room, and you can stay as long as you need in each room without feeling rushed. Wheelchair accessible!!

Everything was so fun and interactive. Lots of history and fun facts to learn about the passengers. I absolutely love the fact that they give you a card of a passenger to see if you survived at the end. Highly recommend we had a blast 😀

Awesome museum with so much to learn about and look at. The entire staff was so friendly and informative, they really added to the whole experience and are so passionate about the Titanic. We ordered our tickets online in advance and went on a Saturday morning. By the time we got out, the parking lot was full so I’d recommend buying in advance to reserve a spot just in case.We also tried the new Titanic Frozen Custard shop. Again, amazing and kind staff. A guy (I wish I got his name) let us sample a new lemon zest treat he was working on and it was SO delicious that I wish I lived locally to stop by and get some all the time. Very cute shop and a great addition to the museum.We enjoyed the whole Titanic experience and highly recommend visiting!

Absolutely loved this. You will not be disappointed. If you are a history buff like me. This is great. You walk through self guided tour. I do however felt at times overwhelmed with others around as I get lost in the reading and listening. Feel at times you are in someone’s way. The experience however takes you back. The piano room is my favorite. Beautifully done.

We enjoyed visiting the Titanic museum. I bought tickets online two days before visiting, I still waited in line for 35 minutes. I was given a boarding pass ( duplicate) of someone that was actually on the Titanic, everyone was, this was interesting at the end there was a memorial wall my person gave up her seat on the lifeboat to a mother & child. My person drowned. No pictures on the first floor. Pictures are allowed upstairs.There were many items that were actually on the Titanic, and their value. So many interesting things, well worth the money spent on a ticket. I would recommend it for the entire family. Clean restrooms. Wheelchair accessible. Large parking lot with free parking.

Very educational and hands-on. Lots of legitimate artifacts and well written history behind them. It is a great place for adults and kids. You will learn new things about the Titanic you probably didn't know before. It also brings a sense of somberness and gravity to what really happened that fateful night outside of the Hollywood depictions.The audio tour guide is a great way to keep the kids entertained.It is a timed event and helps if you buy tickets in advance. It takes about an hour and a half to complete. Very long and worth the money, it can be a little narrow and take a while if there are crowds.There are no photos or videos until the top floor and phones must be on silent. While it is an entertainment venue, there is an implication to keep behavior respectful in honor of the victims' memorials throughout the venue. It's a fun thing to do if you're looking for recommendations.A large gift shop with lots to choose from is there to end your visit.

Nice museum. It's on the pricey side for the displays. You have your own prerecorded device which tells you about some of the displays. No wait. Get a 2$each coupon out of the many coupon books on displays around town

If you are visiting Pigeon Forge this is a MUST See!! 3 floors of History! I couldn't help, but get emotional looking at some of the exhibits. Absolutely beautiful museum!! Wonderful to be able to experience with my family.

What a great place for the family. Excellent top notch stores, restaurants and rides. Very clean and I feel very safe here. The parking is not ideal true, but it also makes it feel more like visiting a theme park than just going to an outdoor mall. Highly recommend!

Nice place to walk around, dine, and shop! This area is very congested, so come with patience. I loved that you could park your car and catch the public tram for free. The water fountain shows were beautiful. I definitely loved the vibe at night with all the lights, smells, music. All around a happy place to explore!

This was a fun area to walk around and explore shops and restaurants. The mirror maze was supper fun and affordable with adult tickets only being $15 a person. The ferris wheel was also decently priced at $15 per adult and we were able to go around 4 times. Overall a fun place to explore and the free parking was also a great bonus! 🎡

Great place to hang out in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Lots of good food, shops and a little bit of everything for young and old. Also very relaxing to watch the fountain that is timed hourly with music. The local bands at Smoky Mountain Moonshine are wonderful to listen to also. Overall just a great place to be day or night!!

It's nice to just be able to sit and relax while watching the fountain at Pigeon Forge after a long day of walking.Nice restaurants around.Be prepared to walk if you are in a hurry to return to your car. I think they only have one tram running to and from the free parking lot.It's best to go at night to see all the lights!

Tourist trap with a bunch of miscellaneous stores, odd attractions (Alcatraz!?), and some chain food spots. There is a HUGE parking lot in the back that still seems to fill up enough that it feels like you're walking to another town before you get there. Interesting to take a look if you've never been there before.

If you like lots of fun shops, various food venues from sit down to carry out, bars, distillery, winery, rides, and a giant Ferris wheel, then this place is a must stop. They feature shuttle service from parking lot too. You could easily spend a whole afternoon here!

Meet your country version of Broadway at the Beach for those who have been to Myrtle Beach, SC. You will find most of the beloved attractions here at this location with the majority of the same shops and dining venues. Family friendly with a great water show and spectacular views. The Island is a welcoming attraction for anyone of any age.

This is a beautiful inexpensive convenient place for a family with small children!! We entered during the day and left at night. They have a water show in the beginning of the park with rocking chairs all around. They have many store around the water and throughout the park. It’s not to big or to small! We had a group of 10 from ages 1-70 and all of us were entertained in so many ways!! We all did The Wheel and left so happy!

Super fun place to bring the entire family. You can hang out here and not go anywhere elseIf you don’t want to. There are so many things to do all in one place. Stay at the Margaritaville Hotel on site, and you literally be an elevator ride away from all the action. We stayed on in a room with a view of the river, but I wished we had a view of the village, so we could people watch. But it was still nice. I’d recommend the river view for people who want more quiet and privacy on the balcony.

Pros: free parking, can walk or take trolley, nice water display, nicer shops not all the tacky tourist shops like the main strip, ole Smokey and winery were nice.Cons: very rude staff from buying to tickets to the rides and most the stores. Took my toddler on the little tykes rope course and the worker was very rude and not gentle or kind with him. Most of the stores the staff is just sitting on their phones and barely lookup at you.Stores I did like the made in America store

An absolute must!! Such a sight to see. It's almost hard to put into words. Be prepared during the hot months though. Filled with tons of exciting attractions for all of the family!! Recommended by some locals: Fly: Soar America was the best experience!! THAT STOLE MY HEART right away. A truly one of a kind experience. I will not give away the details, if you want to know please go!! Many available shops, boutiques, and snacks, eateries and some bars to enjoy some cocktails and atmosphere.

Good place to visit. After parking, you can either walk (which isn't far, depending on WHERE you park) or take the tram which picks up at the designated spots at each parking section. Plenty of shops, restaurants and attractions...a little something for everyone. We got candy, cookies, beef jerky, moonshine and a few souvenirs. Paid $15 to ride the Wheel then headed to Dude's Daiquiris for a drink!

Fun visit. Beautiful day. Not overly busy. Enjoyed the shops and sights. They are down quite a few drivers for the tram (the employee said they were down 30!) But they were doing their best. Lots of stuff to do that could fill a good portion of your day. We spent some time in the arcade, watched the fountain show, window shopped, etc. I would say no 'wait' once we got inside, but we did have to wait about 15 minutes for the tram because there was also a convention going on this weekend.

The island is composed of several shops and restaurants, lots of Kids Activities.you can eat at Paula Dean's family kitchen. Which we did, family style serving. We tried the barbecued pulled pork and the pot roast, which was absolutely delicious. We sat by the water fountains for several minutes and then stayed till dark. And the water fountain was beautiful with the colors and dancing to the music.

This was a really nice place! It was fun and live. The music was so cool and the rides were fun. It is a family fun place. I would recommend it if you are in the area. The food was so good too.

Kids and adults could spend the entire day without getting bored. The Wheel and water show are beautiful at night! You can easily find coupons for some of the rides if you don't buy an all-day band.

We loved The Island in Pigeon Forge. Our kids (10, 9, and 3) had an absolute blast. We spent the entire day there, which was great value for money. We purchased the unlimited pass for the kids, which are actually good for 2 days. We didn't go back again because we had prior plans, but if we knew in advance, we would definitely have done 2 days because the kids had so much fun.

Every 30 minutes the water fountain go in rhythm with songs playing and is really fun to watch after dark when all the fountains are lit up. There are a veriety of shops and restaurant around the island with a ole smokey there as well . The island was free to enter and There is a huge parking lot with free parking with shuttle busses that will run people around if you do not feel like walking I don't think it cost anything but I did not ride the shuttle as it was only a couple hundred yards to island from where I was parked.

We had fun visiting the area and enjoying the scenery. It is a nice place to visit and spend time with the your family. There is a good variety of places around the area within walking distance. The shops include candy stores, may different types of gift shops, restaurants, bars, and an arcade. There is plenty of parking but its about 5-10 minutes to walk depending on how packed the parking lot is. But there is a trolley that runs regularly to take you back and forth. The ferris wheel was very fun and you get a good view from the top.

A must experience to feel the energy and experience that the Island has to offer. The dancing water fountain and the variety shops are a plus to the attraction of the Island. Great people, relaxing and free to visit year around.

If you're there for the rides, they are for kids mostly and not adults at all. There are lots of booze places and bars all around you, and the rides are for kids. Not sure how they came up with this percentage but they need a few adult rides. A nice large coster over the area and maybe stretching past the parking lot for us big kids would be nice. We ended up staying at the island but left for the multiple hill coasters around town because there is nothing right at the Island. I would recommend maybe staying a night at the island and then go some place and enjoying the other sites if your adults.

In a general sense, I do love it here - I love the fountain and the music and the lights, and there's a lot to do. The Winterfest light trail starts from here and there is tons of free parking. But in winter, everything closes really early, by 7 or 8 it seemed. Maybe even earlier for some of the outdoor attractions. Operating hours on google can't be trusted.

First time going and let me tell you what, it was great!!! ALL the roller-coasters were great. We even rode some of them twice. That is also how fast the staff at Dollywood is working to get people on rides. The staff is also so helpful if you need help finding food or a ride. We loved this place so much that we are going back for a second day. I would definitely recommend that you come here whether you have kids or not.

This was such a cute amusement park! The rides were fun for the whole family, food was fantastic, and there was plenty of other attractions to keep you busy! The lines were relatively short, and after getting rained out we had no wait at all. All of the staff members were so friendly and I cannot wait to go again!

This was a visit I won't soon forget.At Mountain Blown Glass you can make your own ornament for a lasting memory.Definitely recommend people to visit.If you go make sure to stop at the Grist Mill and pick up some hot cinnamon bread@This is the ONLY park I have ever visited that sings the national anthem when they open!That alone is worth five stars.I would give them more just for that if possible!

My first time here! Excellent time! I loved the shoes and the roller coasters! The water rides were wetter than expected, but that's all the fun! Free refills with a souvenir cup purchase. Locker rental for the day is only $12 and you can transfer your locker from one location to another multiple times. We went in early spring with no wait times on the rides, but a Time Saver Pass is available (we had one but only used it once). I recommend it for busy time of the year. It's a waste of money any other time. We ate at the buffet. It was delicious. We ride the train. Lots of gift shops, thrill rides, kid rides, something for everyone. There's an aviary, and we saw weeks turkeys on the train ride.

I have to say I was truly impressed. My family and I had a great time. My girls are 14 and 17 and they had more fun than they did at Disney. Went in early April which was a great time to go, not too busy, lines were not long. Park was very clean and the food we had was very good and reasonably priced. I'm not very mobile so I bought my mobility scooter and I had no problem getting around the park. The flowers were beautiful.

We arrived at Dollywood on a Tuesday around 10am.We prepaid for parking and the parking lots were full up to lot D, where we Parked. The Tram was the longest thing to wait for but it was clear the staff was moving as fast as they could, and it was organized. Getting into the park after the tram dropped us off took no time at all. We prepaid for tickets and highly recommend you do the same. I screenshot my tickets and they scanned my phone. I picked up a "Happy Birthday" button from a bin right near the maps. I got a map but I used the Dollywood App mostly since it works like google maps and has all ride wait times. Wait times were not too bad most of the day. The park is very walkable and you can go to the lesser wait times and keep an eye out on other rides. The biggest downside really was their credit card machines going down around the park. I recommend bringing cash, I have come to learn it is very helpful to have. All in all though, Dollywood did not disappoint!

One of the best THEME parks. Loved the Harvest Festival with all the pumpkin displays, Halloween decor and music - so much talent and love the music here. Lots of themed food and drinks. The hot cinnamon bread was a treat. Ride the Dollywood Express that circles the park, see Dolly's childhood home replica, escape to a bygone beaut of a place, and ride great themed rides like the Tennessee Tornado and Wild Eagle... the eagle ride really does make you feel like you're soaring!

We had the most amazing time despite the rain. Our children were finally tall enough to ride the big rides and even though that was all they could really do they enjoyed every minute we were there. The shops were adorable and incredible. All of the staff were absolutely wonderful! We were able to be present for the drone show at the end of the night! All in all an excellent time and memories we'll never forget!

This was our first time to visit Dollywood, and it was such a fun experience! Parking was easy. The tram was wonderful. There were so many that we didn't have to wait at all. ALL of the staff were friendly and helpful. ALL of the park was very clean and had tons of places to rest in the shade. We loved the rides! Lighting Rod was our favorite roller coaster. There are tons of places to eat. The hamburger was mediocre for the price. The Nathan's hot dog stand was delicious! Make sure you stay for the drone light show at the end! We've never seen anything like it! We should have planned to be in this park for 2 days so we could have seen the shows as well.

During mid-September, I went with my sister and my autistic nephew, Anthony, to the Dollywood Amusement Park. Although I'm not typically a fan of amusement parks, I thoroughly enjoyed observing Anthony's reactions to the rides and the lively atmosphere. Fortunately, the park wasn't crowded on the day we went, so we didn't have to wait in line for any rides and even got to go on some of them twice. However, the downside was that most of the rides were either geared towards extreme thrill-seekers or very young children, leaving few options in between. The majority of the roller coasters had upside-down loops and were quite bumpy, which may have been enjoyable when we were younger, but not in our 60s. Our personal favorites were the log flumes and river rafts, despite getting wet from the rides. The food choices were typical fair food, expensive and mediocre.

I will start with the only bad thing I experienced. I wish they had more scooter rentals at the front or offered shuttles to the inside rentals. Being handicap has it challenges and renting a scooter shouldn’t be an extra problem.Now, Dollywood is beautiful! It was very clean and decorated wonderfully. We had to stay until dark just to see all the pumpkins lit up. Trying to take pictures of some displays was difficult because people walk right through as you try.We ate at one of the restaurants near the front, the food was good and the wait went fast. We also got a harvest food tasting pass. What a great adventure. It was fun to taste everything fall Dollywood had to offer.We bought season passes to try and come back again for other seasons.

Dollywood is fun for everyone. From the moment you walk in, it's just instantly exciting. It was my daughter's birthday, and they had birthday pins at the front entrance, which made her feel even more special on her big day. We were lucky and went during the fall fest. The pumpkins and fall theme made for such an inviting and warm feeling. We ate at one of the little restaurants, and the service and food were nothing short of amazing. The fried green tomatoes were absolutely delicious! We only went on two rides, but they were so much fun, and the wait wasn't too bad. The shops are so cute and pretty affordable. ALSO, one thing that was huge for us was that they had medicine (Ibuprofen, Tylenol, tummy meds, etc.) for sale at pretty much every shop. It is a lot of walking, but it is totally worth it, and there are a lot of places to stop and rest. We only got a day pass but could definitely have used an extra day or two to explore the entire park. I would highly recommend taking a trip, so many memories to be made here!

We went to Dollywood on Good Friday so it was very busy. We did buy our tickets in advance. I would recommend you do that because the lines for the tickets were extremely long. Definitely a lot of different things to do. We did not do any of the rides had no children with us, so I’m not sure if those lines were long, but there is an app so you can keep track of the wait time. My husband and I did a lot of the shows which were all amazing. Definitely a place for family fun and don’t forget to ride the train 🚂🚂🚂

Beautiful park. Easy access to everything. Friendly hosts. Awesome performances. Everything was very clean. I worked at Walt Disney World for over 22 years, and Dollywood is a much cleaner park. I saw no trash anywhere, bathrooms were spotless. Well done Dolly!

Living one hour from Hershey, PA it's only natural that Hershey Park is my metric for other amusement parks. I've heard about the shows at Dollywood but they weren't showing when we were there. The layout of the park is decent enough but it seemed to be lacking in thrill rides. They have 9 coasters where Hershey has 15. I have no issue with the quality of the rides but when you have less rides the wait times will inevitably rise. Although I will give them props. The pretzels were awesome. 10 bucks a pop but they were huge. At least twice the size of Auntie Anne's. I noticed quite a few booths were empty and there were no open photo booths after the coasters. Maybe the worker shortage or all considered the off season. I had fun but $90 is way too much for what is offered. Hershey is only 55. I downloaded the app called Dollywood and it worked great for the first 1-2 hours but it stopped reporting wait times before lunch which made it hard to plan. Still, as always, you should check out and decide for yourself.

We have annual passes to Dollywood. Each season brings new experiences for all to enjoy at the theme park. This trip, we appreciated the free water to keep us hydrated in the sunny, 90-degree weather. The train ride was fun and provided a nice breeze to cool off and relax. In the evening, the dance parties were a lot of fun. They really drew in the crowd. The fireworks show was beautiful. What made the day stand out was the drone show. I have to say, it was amazing! There were so many drones! The pictures they created in the sky were fabulous! Make sure you add Dollywood to your vacation destination this summer.

We love Dollywood. We are an older couple so the roller coasters are no longer the main attraction for us. We did have to try the new Big Bear Mountain roller coaster, and I think that it was a perfect choice for this area of the park. Because they didn't go crazy with loops and the like. They can allow fairly young (short) kids to enjoy it with the family. It is very long and incredibly smooth and just seemed like the perfect fit for this area. Food is great, Fireworks and Drone show was amazing. All in all a great day in the Smokies!

Typical theme park, but I appreciated the variety of events and rides so that all ages could be satisfied. Not very long lines. Fairly priced kids meals. Kids three and under are free and almost all rides allow shorter kids to ride if they have someone over 14 with them. Drone show was cool and worth long line leaving park after it. Don't leave without trying the cinnamon bread.

We had the most amazing day at Dollywood!! We had our 2 and 4 year old Grandchildren, my 77 year old Mother, and my adult children. There was something for everyone. It was decorated beautifully for Halloween. Entertainment was amazing. There were amazing roller-coasters, and children's rides were great too. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back!!

I've been to many amusement parks and this one is amazing! Clean, employees are friendly, so much to see. Cinnamon bread is a must, but stop first thing. You can leave to eat or rest, so get a stamp on the way out. Loved the fall displays. The evening was crowded for the fall displays, but still worth it. The food is great, bathrooms are clean, and other patrons were very polite. I didn't ride anything but the atmosphere is unparalleled. I didn't think I could love Dolly anymore, but it happened. Also being surrounded by fall foliage in the mountains was breathtaking. Eagle sanctuary was a nice surprise, also.

Lots of fun rides. Great entertainment for the whole family. Different class rides for all types of people and all ages. Managed wonderfully. Flow of traffic and people is well maintained. Parking is convenient. Security is present and consistent. Lots of shopping, junk food, good restaurants etc. Wonderful experience. Can't wait to come back.

Friendly Employees all over the park. Also helpful if you need anything just ask and they are more than happy to help. The food is pretty good and the refillable souvenir cups are a fantastic deal. Plenty of shows at different schedules so you can see most everything you want to if you plan it out right. We didn’t do any of the rides other than the free fall ride, I can’t remember what it’s called, but it was fun. The park was moderately crowded around 60%. I would say. The ride times we noticed were anywhere from 20 minutes to 65 minutes for some of the popular rides. We went to see the harvest festival, decor, and the pumpkins looked amazing. I wish there were more lights and other areas similar to the way they do Christmas, but overall, it was a great experience. We are season passholders and this was the first time we were able to experience the fall harvest. For the themed seasons, the tasting pass is a great value. For $35-$40 you get to sample five different things in there are both food and drinks to choose from. The drinks are a little less expensive so I would save the tasting pass for the food and just purchase the drinks.

My favorite theme park ever! Wait times were reasonable for rides. Easy to rent an electric scooter. Loved the vibe, rides, and decorations. Parking was easy and the tram was closely accessible. We stayed from 11am-8:30pm and shut down the park! I've been to about 15 different theme parks. This was definitely one of my favorites, top 3!

Super nice people, as soon as you park your vehicle you're greeted and helped with where to go. The parking trolley was a neat little ride into the park, you can also walk. The overall park is very beautiful and clean, lots of flowers everywhere. Very friendly people made it so welcoming to be there. All of the attractions and retro style streets and neighborhoods were so cool to walk through. Attended the food and flower show. It did not disappoint. Saw a couple shows. Ate lunch at the Front Porch and had a delicious chopped salad. Shopped and browsed several stores. Loved the flower displays! We went on a Tuesday, early May, and it was still a busy place. The eagle aviary is a must see. I have never seen so many eagles in one place.

This is a pretty fun park. They have a lot of rides. If you are a bigger person you may not fit all the coasters. They do have test seats at the entrance to each ride though so that will let you know. They have good food choices and you can get refillable drink and popcorn containers.

We parked very close to tram pick up. Got out of the car tram was there! Got right into the park. Had to go to ride accessibility area. I was in a private room with a knowledgeable staff member which made it quick and easy.The park is very well taken care of. So clean. So many shops, so much food, drinks ice cream.Nice amount of rides for my kids (9) hubby also enjoyed all the big rollercoasters! Great variety for family to enjoy. Staff was all so nice and helpful.It's a wonderful park to visit. Can't wait to go back!

A world class theme park! I wanted to visit for ages and it didn't disappoint!Lost of classic rides as well as some of the best modern roller coaster manufacturers out there. Superb ambiance and lots of dining options!The park is very clean and there's so many workers there to make your experience the best. Truly a must visit!I wouldn't miss their newest ride, Bige Bear Mountain as well as other classics like the old train. Cinnamon bread was so good!

We had a really good time at Dollywood. Yes, it's expensive and parking for $25 a car is ridiculous. The rides are fun,but expect to wait in line an hour or more for each one. They offer a fast pass, but it's an additional $60 a person and you still might have to wait depending on how many other fast pass users are there that day. We only spent one day here and mostly just rode the roller coasters, but there's enough here to spend two full days - especially if you want to catch any shows.

BEST DAY EVER! Our family had a planned day at Dollywood. On the day we planned it RAINED! We went anyway, and it was the best decision we ever made. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. Every employee we met was SO warm and helpful no matter the situation. We rode every possible ride with little to no wait time. We ended the day with the BEST funnel cakes were ever tasted. Again, BEST DAY EVER! Thank you, Dolly!

Been a while since I went to an amusement park but this one ranks top 3! Super organized from entrance to exit. They have a helpful free app with maps and wait times for rides. So many high quality coasters. CINNAMON BREAD. Easily walkable. Beautiful scenery. Well done, Dolly!

I really knew nothing about this park prior to going and had low expectations. Now that I have gone I would say it is well worth the visit if you are visiting Tennessee.The rides are well done and very thrilling. You will also find good food and shopping.Prices within the park are reasonable too.

This was a fun activity to do while exploring Gatlinburg. An easy way to go between Ober and downtown (10 minute ride every 20-30 minutes). You get great views. We did this to get lunch after snow tubing. My kids loved the view and mechanics. Not crowded on a weekday in January.

My family and I had a great time here skiing! I would recommend going earlier rather than later so you can ski on the fresh snow. As the day went on it got more icy towards the end, but that’s just the nature of it. The ski lifts were easy to get on and off, and all of the staff were very helpful and nice! Great place to spend the day, we took the tram up and down too and we all really enjoyed that experience.

I was disappointed in every way by this place.First, the good: the view on the tramway itself is good, but not really amazing.Now the bad.The first bad thing, is you can just drive to the location at the top where the tram stops. Nobody tells you that when you get to the top, you really can't see very much. Just a narrow angle, that you have to pay 50 cents to see anything through those big fixed binoculars, that are on the edge of a parking lot. Not even a viewing platform.We thought we might try the ice rink bumper cars. But no ice in the ice rink.So let's go to the lounge. Lounge is closed.Take the scenic chairlift. Not open.And it just goes on. Thank God we didn't pay for the all access pass in advance.It's not that so much of the facility is not working, it's that they don't tell you when you are on the ground, when they try to sell you the passes. At least they offer to let you buy the tram ticket, and then upgrade to the *all access" pass at the top.You can actually drive to the summit of the mountain from Gatlinburg (well above this place)If you want a great view, I would suggest this.

Experiencing the tram 🚊 was the most exciting thing I've ever experienced with my husband. We had a great time!! Must try it. $20 Parking all day, $29.99,+tax ticket price up & down.. runs every 20min. They have additional shopping and really cool activities in the little town.

Took the tram to Amusement park on hill top that has ice bumper cars, ice skating with no time limit where kids had loads of fun. We missed the snow tubing, would recommend anyone to purchase tubing tickets well ahead.

Absolutely - Positively Loved Ober Gatlinburg! Best Calm, fun amusement park in Tennessee. No rushing or extensive wait times. Associates Very friendly and kind. The shops are abundant also food stands. The Leather Shop fantastic choices, Husband got 2-leather belts (fitted) 2-belt buckles (beautiful) I got bracelets! Will absolutely return on our next vacation here from North Carolina!!!

The tram was great and the top was breathtaking and peaceful we sat outside and enjoy the afternoon! Lots of boyscouts were there enjoying it too! They have a indoor skating rink and they have a tubing on ice with lights around the tube this was our second time in 6 years and nice way to enjoy nature!

A One-of-a-kind park in Gatlinburg!This site can be accessed either by taking the tram from the bottom of the mountain or by driving up to the site. There is a large parking lot at the bottom and a small lot at the site. I chose to drive up to the site. The drive is up a mountain road and may not be for nervous drivers. There are several items to see and do at the “mall”. There is a chairlift, icerink, Tram, zoo, shopping, and a toboggan ride. This is a typical ski area in the winter months but during the summer months, when I went, it was summertime. All of the above were open and available to include the restaurants. You can purchase tickets right inside the door as you enter. I tried the chairlift, Tram, and zoo. Both moving rides afford nice views of the mountain. The zoo was very basic but had several bears in the outdoor enclosure and smaller animals in a building off to the side. The toboggan was closed due to rain/lightning in the area so I did not get to try that. The staff was pleasant at each of the different parts (chairlift, shops, tram). Overall, it was a nice place to get some beautiful views from the mountain and do some interesting rides.

Great vistas of Gatlinburg and the Smokies NP. It's a nice way to spend an hour round trip.

Did not know it would be so much fun. We were just taking the tram up and back. There is slot to do at the mountain mall family friend and very fun. A great way to spend time with friends and family.

It was nice my husband and I enjoyed our visit here. The only thing was that we had to pay for snow activities separately, and the Tram was so pack we were literally smelling other people armpit 🤢 and wasn't able to enjoy the view either way.

Was a really nice ride to take to the top of the mountain!!! My wife hates heights and wouldn't ride the ski lifts... but this was no problem.Both tram operators were very engaging and the staff on the upper and lower ends were very friendly and courteous.We just took the tram ride... but there is a rescue zoo there as well as ski lifts to take you higher up.The place even has an ice rink inside!!Great views of Gatlinburg and the surrounding are!!!A MUST DO!!!!

Perfect fall foliage viewing on October 27 2023. It is definitely worth the money. Relaxed trip up the mountain where you get to take your glamour shots with the beautiful 360 view of the blue ridge mountain and the beautiful fall colors. The whole trip is just over an hour round trip.

The lines were insane. 40 mins just to get the worst pizza for the family. 1 hour for the rock climb. The ice skate lady was rude. Honestly a lot of time and money for little in return. If you want to do anything you would do at Ober then just go to a place that does that thing. You want to ice skate. Go to an ice skating rink. You want to rock climb go to a rock climbing place. But you pay a premium to wait an insane amount of time for sub par quality of everything.

My wife and I rode the tram up the mountain on Aug1st 2023 and enjoyed the ride and scenery. Recommend this to anyone in the area visiting. Fun and adventurous and you may catch a glimpse of some wildlife such as bears and a few other critters on the mountain. We took the ride just before sunset and it was gorgeous. Fun things to see and do when you arrive on top. Check it out!

Great place to check out. They have $5 tryouts which are totally worth it. Servers are entertaining and give cool facts about the drinks. They have large area covered with live music and sitting space. Must go place if spending time in downtown

Great Tour! We had a fun group experience with the Redneck Bus Tour that stopped here. We all enjoyed free tasting and coupons. Great spirits and views of the distillery in action! Awesome

We did a lot of moonshine tasting when we were in Gatlinburg and Jen by far was the best she was nice. She was knowledgeable and made the tasting a lot more fun. We were able to get the specialty flavors we were looking for and use our coupons because we did the whole moonshine trail with the old smoky locations we got our free T-shirt and the guy that helped us Was really awesome. Jeff just moved here from Las Vegas so you know who you are thank you for a great time and this is a great location. They don’t have any restrooms in the location. You have to take the elevator to go upstairs, but the experience was definitely worth it 10 out of 10 totally recommend this location and ask for Jen. Thank you Jeff!

Southern hospitality at it's finest. The midwest could take a clue from the South. My husband and I have Southern backgrounds and we long to move back South. Tasted most of the flavors. Shots poured for everyone! Everyone was very nice and even met some drinking buddies. We purchased over $400 worth of moonshine and Whiskey. We will be back. This will last for awhile. One of the best parts of our trip! We scheduled ahead and do the behind the scenes tasting tour! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Beyonce;) did our tour and made our time incredibly awesome! She was SUPER knowledgeable, fun, and kind!! It is really neat to see how the moonshine is made and hear about the history and future of the company ! We then had VIP tasting which was super fun- you even get a Tshirt on the way out! The place was clean and organized well!

This is a moonshine store that has taste testing for $5 and a wide variety of flavors. There’s a distillery on-site that’s very interesting. They also have a stage and bluegrass bands perform in the afternoon and evening. The music is free with rocking chairs arranged in front of the stage for anyone to sit in and enjoy the show. We saw 3 different groups and they were all very talented.

Surprisingly great fun. You get a $5 coupon if you do the tasting. There is also a huge Gift shop and live music played outside in a beautifully decorated area.

Ole Smoky Distillery is always a good time. We stopped in this past week while on a girls trip. You have to participate in a tasting, it does not disappoint. The flavors of moonshine are always surprising. The combinations that they come up with are not something you'd think of, such as the lavender blueberry moonshine, which was delicious...mix it with lemonade and Wow!

This place was on my short bucket list and I was not disappointed at all! Made a special trip over there when I was vacationing in North Carolina. Went all out with the Behind the Stills tour (free special tshirt when you do.) Brooklyn (not Beyonce😉) was awesome as our guide! We definitely took advantage of their amazing selection and sales. Got a pack of 12 (2 free bottles) with the large cooler free and got the 3 pack with the free small cooler. I wish I had read the passport before ending vacation and visited all 3 locations for another free shirt. Definitely keeping it on hand next time I'm there, which will hopefully be next year.

Second tasting and had a great time taste testing the moonshines of the day! $5 tasting and the flavors were great, bartenders fun, and comical even through their sales cooler pitch! Minimal wait to get to the bar top, but it was a full bar! Store is huge so many different souvenirs and shines to pick from, everyone is super helpful, and don't forget to use your coupons! Take it all in, throw the tasting back and just have fun!

I would say overall 4.5 stars is where I would put it. The atmosphere is neat with live music outside. The shine tasting is nice but I don't agree with the sign everywhere saying free tasting when it costs you $5 but I understand the city forces that fee and not the establishment. However you do get a $5 coupon for merchandise in the store with the tasting. Overall fun experience I recommend do your shopping before the tasting or you will spend a lot more after you do the tasting lol.

This was more than I imagined and certainly an experience I recommend for those of age. Bring your wallet!First, the moonshine tasting is $5, but you get a $5 coupon to use on your purchase and you're gonna purchase something. They served 9 flavors with two of them being edibles and two being cream liquers. Second, get a tasting with Buzz! He is hilarious and so much fun.Lastly, have fun! There are so many flavors and Ole Smoky Moonshine merch. I wasn't ready. And they have specials, so take advantage.When you're done shopping, step outside for some entertainment. The rocking chairs are comfy and the music is great.

first time here and had the absolute best time. i didn’t fully catch the bartenders name…i think Karima ?? and Felicity? Their friendliness w each-other and how they interacted with customers was so awesome. They were amazing. So kind, funny and informative. The entire staff was extremely friendly from walking in to cashing out. Def recommend, super fun & moonshine is amazing of course. Do the premium tasting! Worth it and still inexpensive.

Really enjoyed our visit and did the moonshine tasting. Our bartender was fantastic and hilarious. Bought some cherries, and lots of moonshine to bring home. The worse experience we had visiting a distillery and believe me, we’ve visited quite a few distilleries, winery and brewery in all our travels around the world.First of all, they have 2 choices for sampling which the bartender did a piss poor job explaining the different except for one had 9 tasting and the other had 11 tasting. Doesn’t take a genius to understand that by paying more you should get more choices. She could have said “with the premium tasting, you’ll get to taste our signature bourbon as well”. I tried to change or upgrade but was refused.Then the bartender tried to explain the very strict tasting rules by yelling. If it was so strict, suggest posting it on the bar and make sure everyone reads it. Cause after 6 tasting, my wife had an emergency as it’s that time of the month, and had to quickly find a restroom. She left while the bartender was trying to sell customers the package set. When the sampling restarted, my wife wasn’t back yet. The bartender said as she left the bar, she forfeited her tasting. Even I wasn’t allowed to finish her drink. When she returned, we had 2 more tasting to finish but the bartender refused to serve my wife claiming it’s the rule.Not sure if this is a state law or rule of the distillery. But to then charge the customer full price for something they didn’t have is a rip off. Imagine someone had to run to take an emergency phone call or go outside quickly to check on their kids. I understand forfeiting that one drink you missed out but then to forfeit the remaining of the course is crazy. Imagine you left just after the second pour. Then you’ll pay $7 for just 1 or 2 very very small sip. Or what if that person has lactose intolerance and can’t drink the last 3 sampling. Why can’t your partner or friend who’s tasting with you and paying as well can’t finish your drink on your behalf?I’m all in for rules but again, if it’s that strict, maybe it clearly visible and post it so everyone can read. Also, was planning to pick up a bottle of their bourbon on the shelf but couldn’t find a single price on the bottle or on the display. As they keep on saying “Hell yeah, I surely won’t return and won’t recommend this place”!!!

Always a fun experience doing the tasting. Cannot remember his name but he was hilarious. Banana Pudding is delicious and so are the pickles.

Definitely worth doing a sampler at the in store bar. I believe it was $5 and they give you mini shots to try all different flavors. They are delicious and the staff makes it extra fun! They have great merch in store aside from the moonshine. Tee shirts, hats, bags.. all kinds of things. Decent prices too.

Amazing experience! We came from Indy and wanted to try out their testing. The pricing was very affordable and easy way to get some local moonshine in your system. It was $10 for 11 tastings of moonshine. Pretty popular for a Saturday night, and would hands down recommend!

First moonshine tasting and it was so much fun! We had Abbey and she's was an excellent bartender and very knowledgeable of each tasting and pairing! She was also very entertaining! We got a comedy show, several tastings, and so many laughs! Tasting space was comfortable and clean. The store was beautiful. Excellent experience, we will definitely be back!

Moonshine’s not really my thing but I recommend everyone to stop by here when they’re in the city and try their tastings. The bartenders are all funny and entertaining and they’ll make sure you’re having a great time.

We had such an awesome time here. We weren't able to take the tour because it was closed for maintenance. We did the tasting, which was an amazing value. The shots are small, but they taste amazing. Our server had a great personality and made it such a fun experience. The drinks in the bar are absolutely delicious. The gift shop has a lot of merchandise to choose from.

Let me just tell ya, if you want some shine, go here! Go do the moonshine tasting, it's always a blast. The servers here are the Best! If you have a wait to get in line to get in I will say that the line moves fairly quick and it's so worth it. I can't tell you how many times I've been and it never disappoints. And you never know who you might just run into while your there.

Such an awesome place you have to stop in and do the sampling, it's well worth the five dollars. you have to meet Glover, he's the Best so Awesome. He sure loves his job. I could've stood there all night and listened to Glover talk. I hadn't smiled that much in Avery long time. Thank you, Glover. I love the banana pudding & pecan shine. Can't wait till my next visit.

Abby did a very entertaining and happy tasting presentation. Staff was very cordial and helpful. Tasting fee goes towards fee and you are allowed to stack the tickets. Definitely worth the visit.

Joshua was our bartender this beautiful Sunday afternoon. He was a blast and we had 13 different moonshine to try. Doesn't mean you like each and everyone, but it was a great atmosphere and everyone looked like they were having a great time! They also had a very handy pour spout to be used on these mason jars! Overall a great time😊

I've wanted to visit Sugarland's for a long time, and when my finace and I finally got to go last weekend, I was NOT let down! We did the taste testing with Cody as our "Taste Master," and he was phenomenal. He kept the group engaged, made us laugh the whole time, and was quite the entertainer. What was even cooler, is that after the tasting, you could use your wristband to get $5 off a jar of amazing moonshine! I had an absolute blast and I can't wait to go back!

You pay $5 for a tasting of 12 preselected flavors. Even with a crowd, the experience is fun! Sugarlands has the best organization system in Gatlinburg as they have everyone line up to check your ID, then assign you a bar to taste test. It takes out the uncertainty of waiting around for an open spot at the bar and ensures that the entire bar can experience the drinks at the same time.Their shines are really good, but the creams are even tastier! Their seltzers are also amazing on a hot day.Even better, your $5 tasting gets you $5 in the store for merchandise! Fun experience and good drinking.

This is a must visit. We have so much fun everytime we visit Sugarlands. The staff is knowledgeable and extremely entertaining. Be sure to visit the back room, ask anyone and they will point you in the right direction.

False advertising and the manager that was there that night was a young girl did not care !!!Always loved coming here for the employees that work behind the bar that pours always extremely friendly Cody Rob always make things fun enjoy coming back here when I'm on vacation numerous times but do not like being disrespected by a manager when this sign is clearly stated the price of a product it doesn't state sign they would not honor their price and she talked to me extremely rude I think she should take management classes and she wants to run an establishment I've seen brighter employees at McDonald's as managers Don't think I will be ever coming back here and purchasing products I will find other needs to fulfill the money that I spend when I come up the Gatlinburg it's pretty sad when one person ruins something you enjoy doing !!!

We love Sugarlands, come here twice a year when we are on vacation. Absolutely the best And so is Payton, enjoyed our tasting session with her. Stopped into Sugarlands Distilling today, we did our tasting with Stephanie, great time, lots of laughs we had a phenomenal time. Wedrink as a family so it’s all good all the time. Absolutely love visiting Sugarlands Shine! They always have the best flavors and the best bartenders…Rob Ham is our favorite and we always try to get his sippin’ post! But seriously this is the spot for moonshine and good times!!

We had so much fun doing the tasting here!! I forgot our servers name but he was hilarious and made our experience amazing! He’s the best we had all day in the whole Gatlinburg area. I like how organized they were as well. Tastings are $5 but you get a $5 coupon to spend on anything in the store so it’s essentially free. Their moonshine is also very delicious and they have unique flavors!! We can’t wait to come back!

This was the best moonshine tasting we visited while on holiday in Gatlinburg.The moonshine was delicious, the hosts were hilarious, and I got to meet the famous Payton (who we saw on YouTube and made us want to visit!)It was so good, we paid a second visit for another tasting and to buy more moonshine to bring back with us to the UK.When we run out, we'll just have to fly back and buy more!

We had such an amazing experience at Sugarlands Distilling company! We got a $5 tasting which was absolutely great! We tried 12 kinds of moonshine + 1 bonus shot, and our bartender Steve was really fun. They offer $5 off the jar with the wristband from your tasting which is a pretty good deal. They have lots of flavors, but definitely try dark chocolate and Pina colada. I highly recommend this place!

An excellent distillery when compared to Ole Smokey up the road. Place was more spacious and well organized.They have a cocktail bar at the end were you can just enjoy their distillery if tasting is not your thing. We ended up going for an Old Fashion made with their own bourbon called Roaming Man and a Moscow mule. Both cocktails were nicely made. You’ll even get to keep their glass when ordering the Old Fashion.We ended up buying a bottle of their bourbon for $38 to enjoy at our hotel.

We loved this place! Definitely worth the trip! They have a large play area for the kids and their gift shop is great opportunity to pick up some souvenirs and things for yourself! Ha haThey have a couple of interactive things to do and their penguin encounter is very informative. If you get a chance, don’t miss the mermaids! So graceful! My only complaint (this does not reflect on the establishment) is some forget basic manners. Let’s all be courteous people.

Highly recommend the glass boat tour! It is an extra add on to your ticket, but it was so cool to be above them! They also tell you all about the different sharks and fish that are in the tank! Going through the tunnel was such an amazing experience!There was a diving show in the stingray tank! You can pet and even feed the stingrays! They also have a cute penguin playground!

We had a lot of fun here. We were inside for well over an hour, and you could spend many hours here if you check out everything in great detail. There is lots to do and see. I would definitely recommend to everyone. Fun for kids and adults. We bought the aquarium + 2 attraction tickets online. It was a great deal you basically got another attraction for free considering the aquarium and museum tickets alone cost more than the combo price. Plus you can scan your phone and walk right in, no need to wait in line.

Better than Georgia Aquarium? Not quite. FStill a fantasic aquarium? Yes!Enjoyed it. Especially the jellies. Didn't get to pet ones but we saw a penguin parade. Recommend for families, couples, or even solo.

Family Friendly Fishy Fun!Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies was a great place for a rainy day in the mountains. The exhibits were well laid out and featured plenty of of viewing spaces with children in mind. The shows were educational, but also interactive to keep your focus. The shark tunnel gives you a unique perspective, getting you up close and personal. They also offer opportunities to touch some of the creatures. I recommend making this a stop on your Smoky Mountain adventure.

The exhibits are great! The tanks all looked great! I could sit and watch the majestic sting rays for hours. The walk to and from the parking garage is not for people with bad knees. The city is working on the parking garage closest to the aquarium, and the elevator was not closed. You start at the top floor of parking and it's one way only. We got very lucky and got a spot in very close to handicap as they were all full on a Wednesday afternoon. It's probably a quarter mile unless you can do stairs, that cuts of the 4 handicap ramps that are for wheelchair access. All in all, a great adventure!

Took the family for a school field trip. Had lots of fun. The information about the different creatures was well displayed making it easy to learn. The two different levels to the playground are conveniently located for rest points where the kids could burn off some energy before continuing on. Other features we enjoyed where the shark tunnel, penguin parade, and dive show.Near the end of the aquarium there's a little food court. Prices are high but that was that was be expected. Its $4 just for an order of fries and $3 for a corn dog or hot dog and those where the cheapest items on the menu. Despite the prices the food was good and it was a convention place to stop for a quick bite before the long drive home since we didn't want to stop elsewhere. The whole family enjoyed being able to watch the sting rays in the giant aquarium next to the food court.

My kids had so much fun!!! The drive was long but overall great experience. Their bathrooms need to be checked on more often. They have a really nice changing table for my younger one great play areas for my 5 year old just wish it was more toddler friendly here. Prices are a bit up there but overall friendly staff just wish the interacting with their customers more. The update features of the building are nice just wish I caught one of the shows to have a full experience. But no major complaints would definitely go again.

It was a pretty decent aquarium. Although a tad confusing to walk around towards the end. It had a lot of nice fish and creatures to look at. A good variety. The gift shop store is a little expensive but not bad and has a nice selection. Food wasn't too bad either. There was a mermaid show that the kids were loving. And scuba diving event as well. They have nice explanations and interactive stuff that is great. There is also a boat that takes you out for a small bit to look at the creatures in the tank through bottomless glass. And they gave good information on the creatures in the tank. I'm not a big fan of aquariums, but my family loved it.

Despite being pricey at nearly $50.00 for a adult, what a great Aquarium, the exhibits were set up and spaced nicely so that you could take your time at the ones you wanted to and not be in the way of other families.Alot of different play areas, a hands on and touch exhibit and a nice cafe as well.Especially enjoyed the moving floor through the shark tank area where you could see everything swimming all around you, even above you.

We were there for a birthday party for our granddaughter. This place is absolutely awesome. The staff is very accommodating very friendly I have never met anybody in this aquarium that is not polite and helpful. The animals and the place seems to be taken care of very well. And my granddaughter had an absolutely wonderful birthday party which was just fantastic.

Enjoyed this experience with my wife and daughter as part of our Christmas getaway this year. They had festive music playing, and the perfect inside temperature was welcoming from the brisk air outside. To be in such a tight area, they have a wide variety of species to observe. Lot's of interactive displays for families to enjoy. Do be prepared for a slightly pricey concession, but that goes for everything in Gatlinburg really. Thank you Ripley's for showing us some cool sea life. We had a great time!

I wasn't sure what to expect going in but after entering I was pleasantly surprised. There is a nice variety of marine life. And the penguin parade was just adorable. And there is a tunnel under the main aquarium with a moving walkway that took you through it which was nice.

We went to the aquarium yesterday and I have been a few times before we do not live that far away. To my surprise, it was not like our other visits at all. The water was very dirty yesterday which was surprising to me because every other time it has been absolutely beautiful. Also I had never noticed before that several areas had a bad odor also seems to me that some of the lights were out. The large play area I feel takes away from the aquarium, kids seem to want to go play there instead of looking at everything else. Everyone there was very nice and the kids love that you could touch the stingrays.

Awesome aquarium and very military friendly :) I’m not one to seek out a discount, but I’m always appreciative when it’s given. The aquarium has some excellent enclosures and the animals seem well cared for. The staff is very friendly and attentive in their jobs. Definitely a great spot for the family or anyone who loves aquatic life, there’s so much to see!!!

My kids had a wonderful time here. (4yrs and 6 yrs) The aquiarim is very well designed and run. The exhibits are up to date and nothing is broken or out of order. Although, it's all interconnected and you can explore freely, the museum is designed, so that if you just keep walking forward, you will see it all and can walk straight out through the gift shop without the use of a map. Also, it is a great indoor activity if you need an escape from the weather.There are so many things to see and the exhibits are beautifully executed. My kids went back to revisit their favorites before we left. I believe that the museum is designed to view entirely in 2-3 hours, but we spent about 5 hours and only left because we had dinner reservations. This attraction is well worth the price of admission. I recommend it.

We really enjoyed our school field trip to the aquarium. It was very busy as many schools were there at the same time so it made it a little chaotic, however there was plenty of stuff to do and look at. He really enjoyed getting to touch the sting rays and going into tunnel, watching the sharks swim overhead. So overall great trip!!

The family had a great time. It was absolutely packed and parking for the Aquarium was full but we ate at a place nearby and didn't have to worry about getting towed by parking there and walking 2 blocks to the Aquarium. There are many chances to get a family pic taken by the staff at a put up shack along the Aquarium walking path. There is 1 place to eat and it can be pricey along with all the gift shop items. This shop is huge by the way and you can pretty much find anything in there. We rented a stroller but it's not the greatest stroller but good in a pinch. All in all its a great place to stop for the family.

In the heartland of the Smokey mountains, Ripleys is sandwiched between many businesses and hotels. Even on a Friday the parking lots were full and we paid $20 to park blocks away.$70 for one adult and child. Do not get tickets at the automated register as there is no option for basic admission, aka the cheapest. Employee also had she/her pin on her lanyard which was disappointing to see.Highlights included the adorable penguin walk that happened on the lower level at 1:15 and the underwater tunnel observation area with moving walkway.Facility appeared clean and it wasn't overly crowded. The sharks were a hit with my daughter and there was a big indoor playground that was popular.I would recommend once coming here but we wouldn't return due to the high cost.

Upon arriving we watched the penguin parade as the walked around the aquarium. This was an unexpected surprise. As we were leaving the penguins were being fed and we enjoyed that as well.The coral had the most beautiful colors and I used one of the pictures I took of it as my Screensaver.The staff was helpful. Kind and informative. Altogether a wonderful experience.

The aquarium is amazing! Beautiful, vibrant, tanks are everywhere, with elaborate details and finishes, and the animals seem very well cared for. The underwater tunnel is the best part, and everything is so clean! Some of my favorite creatures are shared a few here, but the pictures really don't do the experience justice.

My family went right after the new Year on a weekday. We showed up at about 9:30 and finished going through all the exhibits at about 11. When we were leaving at 11 the parking lot was packed and there was a line down the road for people trying to get access. There was also a line at the ticket booth of people waiting to get tickets. I would recommend going first thing in the morning, or towards closing, to skip the lines and crowds. Additionally, I had bought our tickets in advance online and got to skip the line altogether, so I highly recommend it! You do not save anything by purchasing in person and your tickets are good for a year from the date of purchase.With that being said, the aquarium itself was fantastic and it is no wonder it was so busy! If you're visiting or traveling even remotely close to this place I would dare to say it is a must visit. We do not have children, and as two adults, we had an absolute blast. The facilities are beautiful, clean, and top of the line. There were so many cool creatures and things to do. There is a touch pool for manta rays, which includes the option to feed them, there is a penguin parade where they bring the penguins out, and there are educational talks. There was also a penguin encounter, which we paid extra for, and was well worth it! It was a group of about 10 people and we got to talk to staff 1 on 1, pet the penguin, and get a great picture (included in the price). This added about another hour onto our visit.Throughout the aquarium there were food facilities and plenty of places to sit. The aquarium also includes eye level exhibits, exhibits you can see from above the water, and even a walk through exhibit that was surprisingly long and included a conveyor belt ride, which is also a novelty.Lastly, when leaving, we got to see the gift shop which has something in the price range for everyone. The shop even includes art done by the penguins, which is pretty unique. We walked away with two items from the shop for a affordable $25.All in all, if you or your family are even the least bit interested in animals or nature, visit. If you're still on the fence, they had a trophy saying they were voted the best aquarium in America in 2018. If you don't go, it is your loss!

Great experience for the kids. It was advertised as the best aquarium in the US. I don't agree, but it's definitely worth the visit. Lots of interactive things. The 🐧🐧🐧 exhibit allows kids to crawl inside for a better view.

This is one of the best aquarium I've been to right behind Chicago's aquarium. We went during Easter and it was jammed packed. But it took us about 1hr to get through. All I can say is I wish I had a better camera so enjoy the pics

Omg I love aquariums. Haven't been since I was a little girl. I prepaid for my tickets and photo with frame very highly recommend. Also if you loose your picture ticket you just gotta remember when you got thereish I have so many pics and videos it was awesome

We really enjoyed the aquarium. The price was fair enough. There is a parking garage behind the aquarium and parking is $10. There were a lot of kids there when we went due to field trips however it didn't really impact our visit, just have to be patient and wait your turn. The staff could be a little more friendly however we still had a good time takes at least 1 hour to go all the way through and that includes stopping briefly for each view of different aquatic life.

Our kids had and us parents had a great time here. I came as a kid probably 20 years ago and was so excited to bring my 3 kiddos now. We highly recommend stopping here on your smokey mountain vacation!

It had been several years since we had visited. We really enjoyed our visit. We watched the dive with the sting rays & the penguin feeding. Those were neat. You can also have the option to touch jelly fish & sting rays which my child loved. I really thought it was great that almost every area had a sign language video for those who needed it. You don't see that many places! The parking garage behind the aquarium is one of the cheapest places to park in the area. It is 10$ whereas almost every other lot is $20. Staff was nice. Restrooms were clean. I do think the ticket price should be more affordable, that is my only complaint!

Adults and kids and a great time here. The kids loved the play area pictured. The penguin parade was cute. There was a lot to do and see here. It was worth admission, especially if you have kids.

Best Ripley’s aquarium I have been to. Lots to do with great exhibits and The tunnel in the tank is amazing. Kids playground in the middle is big, you could spend a long time there. Very crowded but manageable.

Worth the money! Tons of exhibits, friendly and helpful staff. The penguins are the best! You get to touch live stingrays without paying extra. It's a great place!

Really good experience! Maybe a little pricey at $40 a ticket, but the Aquarium +2 attractions ends up being a great deal! We spent at least 2 hours or so here. I was nicely surprised at the accessibility of the ASL videos & captions and how few stairs we came across. Learned a lot, saw lots of cool animals, and touched a sting ray! I'd recommend and probably even go again!

My family loved the aquarium this one was so much better than the one we have where we live! The sharks were amazing to see up close along with many other animals! I feel it was a bit pricey for the time you spend there and it doesn't help that you usually have to park a little bit away and pay and walk to the attraction instead of parking there or having parking included in ticket prices.

The touch a ray bay and feeding was the BEST. I wish I'd known it was the last exhibit when following the path. Parking is available in the garage behind. The trolley drops off guests on the side of the building. The aquarium offers a 30% military discount including veterans and immediate family. Must show proof.

This is an awesome experience, the kids had fun the entire time and never asked to leave. We like this aquarium much better than the Chattanooga aquarium. If you find yourself coming to Gatlinburg and have kids make sure you stop by Ripley's aquarium, it will not disappoint!

Was staying in Gatlinburg with the family and decided to go here on day 2. There are pay-for-parking lots across the street as well as a parking garage that's also self-pay. It's a little walk across the busy street to get to the actual entrance. It's a busy area so keep that it mind if you're with kids.Once you arrive at the entrance, there are 2 options. If you paid online, you can get right in line. If you are wanting to pay in person, you have to go to the ticket booth and pay, then get back in line (if you are wanting any kind of discount, like military- you need to pay in person). They offer a 30% military discount, which is great!The line is wheelchair accessible and there are wheelchairs available at guest services, right by the ticket booth.The gift shop is right when you enter and there's a little bit of congestion as you enter, but that gets better as you walk through. A lot to see and explore, beautiful place. We loved the penguin parade. Worth the visit.

we had a lot of fun here today. we walked through and engaged with all the animals and had a great time getting up close to some animals you wouldn’t have many opportunities to see up close the way we did today! They were all very friendly and came up to with us with or without food. I will say it was a bit off putting seeing rats running around in the Watusi enclosure and I see from other reviews this has been an issue for quite a while. I did not read the reviews until after our visit and I would like to say that there was not a kangaroo present today and some of the enclosures animals are in in previous reviews seem to have more space now. In relation to previous reviews I’ve just read; I really appreciate that anything we noticed health wise about the animals such as an abscess or a hurting leg on the horse, there were signs indicating that a vet had seen the animal and there was a treatment plan in place for that animal. A deer did nip at the my babies feet out of curiosity lol (did not hurt him) and we were informed on what to do and what not to do and how to stay safe in the enclosures which we really appreciated. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. I thought the price was fair for the experience. Always use your own discretion up close interacting with exotic animals! Staff/company shouldn’t be blamed if you don’t follow instructions on signs and safety warnings! We were there until closing time and saw the animals being fed by staff.

This was a fun way to spend Mother's Day! We only experienced the Riding Stables. The prices were great and the ride ended up running much longer than we paid for which was a huge bonus! There is a cleverly built platform to mount the horse very easily. The workers were very assuring and quickly offered to take many photos of our group. Everyone kept telling us to relax & have fun. It was great! Our trail guide, John (see photo) was extremely patient and very warm & kind... especially to the inexperienced riders in our group that kept allowing the horses to eat grass constantly (which held up the ride at times!) The trails were mostly shady or dappled shade with fragrant honeysuckle and native flowering bushes everywhere. The Smoky Mountains were always with us as well. We will definitely go back here!

Kids loved feeding the zebras, camels, swarms of deer and goats. Pony rides were great too; just a little short. Three loops max. Four would feel more satisfactory. Still fun. Friendly staff.

Very cool place, seems like you're driving into the middle of nowhere, but keep driving you will get there. Staff was all very happy, friendly and informative. Animals seemed happy and well cared for. Their living areas were all very clean too. You can walk through in about an hour and feed just about every animal there and they will eat from your hand. You can also go inside the goat area to pet them and you can pick up the baby goats if you wish to do so. You can go into a deer station and pet them too. This place has rabbits, turkeys, emus, Llamas, donkeys, exotic bovines, deer, goats, camels, birds, zebras and other animals. It cost about $40 for 2 adult admissions with a large souvenir feed cup and 2 sliced up apples to feed the animals. It's about 20 minutes from Pigeon Forge but worth the drive. This looks like a great place to take kids.

I enjoyed this secluded little farm of exotic animals. This was my boyfriends first time at a zoo and it was fairly priced and not too crowded. I think the unique thing that this place has against other places is the deer. You can actually go in their gate and feed them and pet them. It was a lot of fun and a beautiful day for it.

We arrived a little early and were greeted by a gate so if you're fixin' to get there earlier than opening DON'T.Went on a hour trail ride. The staff are friendly and the horses are well trained for trail riding.My mom has bad hips and needed a hand getting her leg over. The next day after the ride she said her hips felt loosened up and she was in less pain. She said she'll be doing more horseback riding.The trail ride was pleasant and my horse a little sassy but well trained.The horses like people have different personalities and the horses we got matched us well.Also if you weigh more than 250lbs you can not ride. They do have a scale and they are serious about the well being of their horses.There are quite a few places to go horseback riding but we were glad to choose this place. Definitely would go back again

What a great place with a variety of animals! Came here with my 3yr old and 1yr old. My 3 yr old rode a pony and I liked that I could walk the pony alongside her instead of staff doing it. Feeding the animals was such a fun experience. We ALL enjoyed it. The deer were really gentle that my 1yr old was feeding them. Got to pick up a baby goat too! We spent a good 2hrs here. Highly recommend for families.

We loved it! We saw so many different animals! Elk, Zebra, Ostriches, Goats, Turkeys, Reindeer, & more. We got to go in the Goat pen & Deer pen for pets. It was all so cool! My 5 year old wanted to go back the next day :)

This was so much fun for the whole family! We really enjoyed the pony rides and being able to interact with all the exotic animals. They are incredibly friendly and mostly like to be pet, except for a few shy guys. I adore cows and the long horns are so so so sweet! They loved having their heads scratched. Even one of the elk leaned over the fence to give me a kiss! It was one of the best days ❤️ the staff are also very attentive and knowledgeable, but prepare to get dirty! You will be on a farm.

Super cool place to take your kids while in Smoky Mountains, the animal variety was amazing and the interaction was superb. I was a little saddened I didn't get to ride the horses, when I got there I didn't know you have to be below 250lbs 😔... other than that loved the place and staff was very nice and friendly.

The highlight of our trip! We are visiting town from Orlando and I’m so glad we visited Smokey Mountain Deer Farm, my son yelled “that was better than Disney” right when we got in the car. The animals were so great with the kids, you could get so close, closer than any zoo I’ve been to. 10/10 would recommend!

Great petting zoo to visit with the kids! The employees were super friendly and helpful. You get a big cup of feed for the animals for only $3.50. The entire place is very stroller friendly, which was appreciated! It's fairly easy to get to, but away from the busy areas, and it's not overpriced like most area attractions.

I was supposed to post this review in May, but I completely forgot. This place is amazing! This was our 2nd time here. After we pet and fed animals, we took our daughter to ride the ponies, but the weight limit is 100 lbs. She weighed 105 lbs so she couldn't ride them. She was crushed, however when we went to get a refund, they offered her a ride on a horse instead! She was the happiest little girl that day and could not stop talking about it! Thank you so much Exotic Deer Farm! You made our daughters day that day and I'm so thankful! <3

We had so much fun. It is a very friendly place for animal lovers. We spent about 2.5 hours there, and my kids made sure to hug and love each and every goats, deers, and feed all the other animals. We got there at 10 am, we got useful instructions and feed at the shop. We purchased 3 cups of feed and 3 apples, and it was enough to feed everyone. You'd need to bring in quarters if you want to feed the emus because their food is coming from a dispenser next to their pasture. My kids had the best time. Thank you so much.

This was so much fun!! We don't have kids and decided to just go ourselves... Adults, you can totally enjoy this visit without little ones 😊 My husband and I got to hold baby goats, fed tons of unique animals, and were swarmed with an overload of cuteness! You can go in the pens for both the goats and the deer and you can feed all the animals there (just make sure to read the signs on what they can eat). We split one large souvenir cup of feed between the two of us and it was plenty. Had a lot of fun and definitely recommend!Just a note... you WILL get dirty and smell. Wear clothes and shows you are comfortable with getting messy. Bring something to change into if you plan on going back out or go home to change.

Our family loved this experience!Getting to go in the enclosures and be with the goats and the deer was an experience that our boys will always cherish! Feeding the goats is always one of our favorite things to do! They had goats, birds, bunny's, turkeys, camels, donkeys, Pigs, cattle, and even zebras!Our boys age 2 and 4 also got to go for pony rides, (Biscuit and Honey) which was awesome!! We called a week before to book the horse ride. When we got there, there were only 2 other scheduled groups for the day. We went on a Monday. We got there an hour before the trail ride so we went into the petting zoo first. We bought a cup of food and 2 apples. There’s so many animals and many different pens. You can go into the goat pen and the deer pen. The deer are very food excited but honestly don’t love to be pet. The horse ride was very pretty. Definitely didn’t feel like an hour. We saw some deer laying in the trees too. Our horses were very well behaved. I rode Pete and my husband rode Comanche.

After having a horrible experience at Ripley's Aquarium in Gatlinburg, this trip could only go up. The woman at the beginning clearly explained the rules and instructions. The layout of the farm is a big loop and it's easy to see everything so you don't have to worry about whether you missed an animal pen. They are also all labeled clearly what animal is in there. There are workers constantly going around checking their pens and cleaning/feeding. The animals seem to be well cared for. The prices for admission are cheap, the feed and apples are cheap. Just don't forget to bring some quarters for the special containers of feed for the birds and baby llama. Overall, so much fun! We will definitely come back again to try the horse riding!

The absolute most amazing place ever! So happy I found this gem of a place! It is very affordable and very fun! The animals are so sweet and friendly. It is awesome you get to feed them and interact with them. The deer area is my favorite! Highly recommend this place, great for family fun!

We're from Indiana, decided to have a girls day with 4 of my girls ages 8, 10, 10, & 17. My 8 year old daughter is autistic, (more so doesn't go out of her comfort zone, gets scared of noises and such.)I was worried about her going alone because, she's only riden as a small child. She was nervous driving there however, our leader was more than a leader. She got right on 0 issues and did amazing! She stayed right behind him, he was amazing at being very kind to us, explaining everything along the way making her fit right in, along with the rest of us. We originally made reservations else where (without searching around) they had to cancel on us. I'm so happy they did, because we ended up where fate led us, HERE. One day i hope to come back. Amazing memories, staff, horses & views. We also got to choose if we wanted a helmet or not. 10/10 recommend. Thank you, again!

Visited in early April the traffic was terrible. Took forever. Eventually made it and parking was full. Had to wait for spots. The view was great was slightly overrated after the large climb. The tower was about 50 feet high.

Clingmans Dome is the highest located observation tower in great smoky mountain national park. It offers some amazing breathtaking 360 degree views of the smoky mountain ranges. The trail to Clingman's Dome is paved but strenuous as one need to hike uphill (steep) to access the observation point but it’s all worth the effort. The trail is about 0.5 miles but feels like a mile long. There are benches along the way to stop and rest. Appalachian Trail is also located at the top of one is interested. Most of the times it may be cool at the top and even chilled. Plenty of parking space available. There is a visitor center located just at the start of the trail. One can also experience some amazing views from the parking lot. Restroom is available near parking lot.

Even on a rainy/snowy April day, the walk up to Clingmans Dome is beautiful, and the view from the round observatory is gorgeous. The walk up itself is pretty steep, but on a paved roadway with benches to rest on every so often.

This park is amazing to visit. The drive up is fantastic then there is a moderate hike to the top. The hike is only a mile round trip but it is a pretty constant grade that can be challenging. We will definitely be back!

This is a must-see if you're in the area. It takes about an hour to get up the mountain stopping at the scenic pull-offs along the way. The walk from the parking lot is approximately a half mile. It is steep and will wear you out. There are a lot of places to sit along the way and rest though. Just remember as you're climbing it's worth it!!

The climb up to Clingman’s Done is a must while visiting the National Park. There is plenty of parking and stunning views as soon as you arrive. The climb is steep, but on a paved path up to an observation tower with 360 degree views of the park. Simply breathtaking.

A beautiful drive! We had to park a ways away for it was very crowded. Nice hike on a paved path. There are several benches along the way. Awesome view from the top.

Couldn't imagine this place in peak season. Mid November wasn't bad and had clear views. Parking and bathrooms on site. Small gift shop with NP stamp. The walk is steep but very doable. Nice path and plenty of benches and views along the way. Nice natural rock scramble for kids at the parking lot. Amazing views and well worth the walk up.

The hike up to Clingman's Dome is challenging but so worth the effort. It’s about half a mile, but steep. The nice part is that it's a paved path and has benches along the way to stop and catch your breath if you need to - so it’s really only challenging if you’re walking quickly. The views are absolutely spectacular. 360 degree views from the highest point along the Appalachian Trail, and the third highest point east of the Mississippi River (literally only 40 feet off the highest). Just stunning. I'd highly recommend. Note that due to the elevation, the temperature is going to be a good bit cooler (and likely breezier) than off the mountain, so dress accordingly.

Best views! Just heads up, no pets on trail. Very busy traffic 7 miles added drive. Temperature is very different. Once parked long uphill, walk to the top of the dome. Benches and spots for breaks. But once you get to top totally worth the breath, fresh air pictures opportunities are awesome.If you can make it for sunset, I hear that's the best. Absolutely must see

Absolutely breathtaking views!! This was my favorite thing we did while in TN. The 1/2 mile hike up there is no joke though, I exercise regularly and struggled especially with breathing at that elevation (you are 6,643 feet). Definitely wear sneakers and comfortable clothing, bring water and a sweatshirt (it was 20 degrees colder up there). There were plenty of places to stop and rest along the way though. Once up there the walkway to the observatory was a little scary being that high up but once you reach the top it was all worth it. The views were like nothing I have ever experienced, I was in awe! If you are afraid of heights this might be difficult for you. The drive up there was a little scary at first for people who are not used to mountain driving. There was plenty of parking once you got up there. There are bathrooms but they are basically permanent portapotties. There is a gift shop there as well.

This was a beautiful spot, it is the highest point in Tennessee and you can see four other states from it on a good day. It is steep, but also pretty short of a walk, so I highly recommend.

Nice little hike to the top. Beautiful views to be had. It was a bit cloudy when we went but it was still really cool to see everything with the clouds rolling through!

What an amazing place the highest point in the smokey. It's a bit of a walk up the the dome. But so worth it. You will feel like you are in the clouds. Love this place more then words can say. It is a must!!

The half mile hike has a strenuous incline, but it is well worth the views from the dome. Bring water, pack light, pace yourself going up, and enjoy the beauty of the Smokies! We even saw a black bear a few yards away from the paved walkway munching on some plants.

We went here on a gloomy, rainy day without any expectations to see a sunset. There were a couple of warnings while driving from Gatlinburg about dense fog in the area. And that fog was visible from Clingmans. There is a steep uphill climb from the parking lot to the start of the dome which might not be easy for everyone. When we went there was absolutely no one on the trail, no one in the parking lot and it was drizzling. If you’re here to see the sunset, plan to be in the parking 40 minutes in advance to enjoy best views and give enough time to climb half a mile uphill.

Couldn’t have picked a better day for the first time to visit. Went on Easter Sunday and it was pretty busy. Parking was dicy and had to wait awhile (20min maybe?) then had a 0.5 mile walk- I don’t think I knew how steep it was! At least there are benches along the way to stop for breaks. Completely believed the view was worth it. Even if you can’t hike to the dome, the view from the parking lot is pretty amazing! They have a nice little gift shop too. Although I did hear a worker say there is nowhere around this area to refill a water bottle- so fair warning. There are bathrooms!

Great experience. The .5 mile walk for my 73 years old mother was tough, but she took many breaks. The incline was tough. Once you make it up to the top, it was amazing views. Free parking in the parking lot. It was a cloudy day, but I still got awesome views. Check out all the pictures.

Beautiful views. It's a half mile up and let me tell you...it's a hike uphill! Plenty of little benches and rock areas to rest on the way up and down.

The hike is small 1 mile but it is pretty medium hike as it has a large incline. The views are amazing and worth the hike.

Steep hike. Short distance. There was a long wait for the bathroom. Bathrooms did not have plumbing. I imagined the dome to be much larger than it was. Beautiful views. There was a long line of cars coming in as we were leaving.

Pain in the butt to park at, but so worth it when you do! It's a decent hike uphill to get to the observation deck, but the elevation isn't so bad, so most people should manage it if in average health. The views are gorgeous, and you can see Pigeon Forge in one of the directions! Be warned, it gets windy up there!

Amazing views, even if you only enjoy them from the parking lot. The hike is pretty challenging, quite the incline... Even at 0.5 miles. It's still quite doable for most, just take your time and take advantage of the benches and other spots for a quick break. The way back down is obviously a breeze. Be sure that you have your parking pass and DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG! They do not allow pets up the trail. We witnessed someone get quite agitated with this, so plan accordingly! We didn't have too much trouble with parking on a Friday, around 11am....but it was quite a cold November day. My understanding is that parking can often be very challenging. Lastly, there are vault toilets and an on-site gift shop as well.

Amazing view.For sure can tell that the walk upstairs was little bit tough.Could feel like it hard to breathe but you will be fine.I think you need from 10 to 15 minutes of walking to get to the destination.At the start of the way they had restrooms if you need.My recommendation- don’t forget to took bottle of water when you going up. (It could be very hot)

Beautiful stop on my journey to reach the highest point in every state. Tennessee's State High Point does not disappoint. The Great Smoky Mountains in general are otherworldly. There's a feeling and spirit there that leaves you captivated my the abundance of life that springs forth in every direction.While you can drive up close to the Dome (it is a steep incline so the out of shape beware), I opted to hike a few miles up to the summit; taking part of the AT which was amazing.I had an eery, foggy morning that shrouded the summit in mystery and intrigue. Luckily I had the dome to myself for about 10 minutes before the next wave of visitors. This few moments of peace, if you can find it, are so valuable. My goal is to one day hike the AT so I very much look forward to revisiting this awesome spot again.FYI you don't have to pay to get into the park but you will need a parking pass. Don't stress over it. Just go to one of the kiosks when you get there.

Steep incline hill with several benches to take a few minutes to rest, while going up the hill. Pace yourself going up. The votes back down the hill are amazing! Be sure to check out the overlook near the parking lot.

If you can only pick one spot to visit in the national park, definitely pick this one. The trail was definitely not my favorite part of the journey since I don't like inclines, but the end truly justifies the means. The 360° view on the highest point in the natinal park was so beautiful and made you understand why the park was named the way it is. On a different note, the dome itself is smaller than what I expected but is well maintained and pretty accessible. I came during less busy time, so parking was not a problem. While they do have a big parking space, I could imagine seeing it get packed pretty quickly during busier times. So, try to come early since you don't want to waste your time waiting for a parking spot or driving back down after driving 7 miles up from the Newfound Gap.

There is a short hike to the top from the parking area with medium incline, can be challenging because of the hight especially if cold. I was there on quite a cloudy day but the views from the gaps in the clouds (stayed up for about 30 mins) were very worth it. There is a view from the parking lot and an overlook some way up the hike. The hike also has a visitors center located by it.

Gorgeous views. Well worth the hike. If going to see the sunrise, bundle up as it gets really cold. Would highly recommend. No issues with parking when we arrived before sunrise.

Wow! Bring a walking stick. It was a hard walk up & down but glad we did. If you think the high altitude may take your breath away, maybe have /wear a clip on mini fan on your backpack. Unfortunately, couldn't see too much . Also bring bottled water for hike.They have restrooms on ground level. The Souvenir shop was closed . Temperatures vary so recommend bringing a jacket . Wear walking shoes. It was great that there were benches to sit on along the way up. Purchased a t shirt saying " I survived Clingsman Dome". The observation area is not as big as I thought but it was still a nice experience. There is no fee or tickets to purchase for Clingmans Dome hike but you do have to purchase a parking pass . 🐶 Dogs are allowed on the ground level but NOT on the trail up to Clingmans Dome. Have fun!

Highest point in the state does not disappoint..First, while there is parking right up next to the trail to the summit.. it's a workout. Come prepared.You can also park miles out and hike in, using the AT, if you're feeling real in shape. It's beautiful either way.Everywhere you look there is greenery, forest, wildlife, and amazing views. Take your time and take it all in.

At over 6,600ft. Clingmans dome is the highest peak of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Once you arrive at the parking area of Clingmans dome, you still have another .5 mile climb to the observation tower. It is paved, so that does make it more accessible for those with physical limitations. Definitely worth the visit. If you're in the park this place is a must see.

What a nice park! We were just stopping over for the night but we will definitely be returning to explore this wonderful place. WI-Fi was non-existent so enjoy the solitude. Be careful in the campsite you choose, some are a bit short. The nose of our truck stuck out into the road just a little bit. We have a 26’Foot trailer with a Chevy Truck with A 6 1/2 foot bed, a little to much for our site. But now that we’ve been there we have mark several sites in the camp map for future reference. The bath house was amazing! Shower and bathroom all in one room with a lock on the door and they were air conditioned! Super nice camp staff and little camp store with most anything you need and I’m certain some amazing trails based on the trail maps. Laundry room, beautiful pavilion with Church services on Sunday morning

I spent some time here in May while on a road trip. I really enjoyed both hikes I did. The park is calm and quiet and the trails are easy to follow.The first day I was here after several days of storms so there were downed trees blocking the trail in several areas. I also saw two tiny baby turtles upside down. I was able to turn them over and move them off the path. I hope they are okay and growing into big turtles now!I didn’t see a lot of flowers as other reviews have mentioned but I did see lots of creatures!

This park is full of interesting trails full of beautiful sights! Cherokee lake is so pretty! We had a peaceful walk along the shoreline which went on & on due to the low level of the lake right now. Its definitely worth checking out!

Just riding around and looking for foliage and , this beautiful place did not disappoint . They have a lot going on here from Frisbee golf to walking trails . At the very end is a very nice pavilion that you can reserve for special occasions. It overlooks a beautiful lake . Very quiet from the beginning of the entering point to the end . There is a visitor center just inside on the left up on the hill.

This is such a beautiful park! I live near Cuyahoga Valley National Park, which I love also, and Panther Creek State Park does not disappoint. It is so picturesque, peaceful, and such a great place to explore, go for a hike, or have a picnic.

Beautiful doesn’t begin to describe this place. Only some sites have sewer - ours didn’t, but what we got instead was well worth it. You have access to a variety of hiking trails directly outside your camp site - and the washrooms are well kept. Pictures say 1000 words so I’ll let that do the rest of the talking.

Big rocks! It's beautiful, you can see the lake from the top if you hit it in the early spring. Footing can be a little sketchy, lots of rocks. If you are athletic, this is a pretty easy area from what I saw. We only did 3 ish miles as we were on our way home from another trail. There is some incline. Nice park, looks like a great place to camp. I love places with variety in scenery and this place does have that. Met a few of the regulars who were super friendly!

Beautiful State Park. Campground is clean. Bathrooms are clean. Lots of green space. Staff in Campground was very friendly. This is the first state park we have been in with Frisbee Golf. Boat ramp is close to campground with parking available. We travel in a 36’ 5th wheel and a long bed dually and there was plenty of space in site 12. The site was gravel but level. Lake Cherokee has great fishing.

So many trails! A cute little park when you first pull in, a couple pavilions for parties, many streams and of course the river. Just a gorgeous place, clean bathrooms and a BEAUTIFUL view from the top

We absolutely love Panther Creek. There are so many trails to hike. It's on the banks of Cherokee Lake and the creek is awesome. We love seeing Oliver the owl when we go. It is dog friendly and there is a Pavillion next to the playground that can give shade for parents while the kiddos play. They also have a campground which stays booked in the summer months. The restrooms at the Visitor center are clean and there is a water bottle filing station there as well. If you have a state park passport you can stamp it at the Visitor center or pick one up there.

This place has so many trails, resting/picnic areas, and restroom options! Also has picnic areas and a scenic drive if you don't want to hike. There's also a campground, bike trails, and horseback riding trails! Literally has it all! I had such a great time exploring the area.

What a nice place to visit Panther Creek State Park you can do RV camping or tent camping they have a outdoor amphitheater just a small one up in the wood you can hike to the bathroom and showers were spotless, and the park itself was in very good shape and condition we took a couple pics, but we want to go back in the summertime when the weather is a little nicer little warmer and go kayaking

Wonderful trails and lake access!Our whole family enjoys this park year round! We love getting outside and enjoying nature. The only thing that would make this place even better is if they re-opened the swimming pool.

There are many hiking trails, play areas, and Frisbee course. They have picnic areas as well as an area for RVs. You can drive up to a viewing area of the Cherokee Reservoir. It is a great area for family outing.

Always an excellent time at Panther Creek SP! Camping is great. The campgrounds and bath houses are very clean! The hiking trails are awesome.

We visited the park to hike the trails for a couple of hours, and it was beautiful! We ended up switching trails at places where they intersected and felt like we got a fairly good coverage of the all the trail areas. Be advised that the trails in the fall are a little obscured by leaves but as long as you pay attention you can still make out the path. These are actual hiking paths and not paved, so some sections can have difficult terrain and feature loose rocks and tree roots. Dress accordingly!

Our favorite local spot to hike. So peaceful and we usually see some wildlife.

So this has been a first for me so bare with me as never in my life have I experienced a place that really hated having customers. While iam not a native Tennessian, I have lived here 5 years.We entered the store/restaurant with zero customers but a small group of 4(2 older couples) entered before us. They were greeted and sat down with a but we are full. They asked if breakfast was still being served. It was 10:37 I believe and the cook yelled at the older lady seating them No I am not cooking breakfast, they ordered BLT and burgers and asked if maybe they had a biscuit or two they could maybe get with some gravy as the had come from Ohio and this place was on their to eat at. That did not go over well. We sat at a small booth and we waited, she walked over and says what do you want. Keep in mind we were just seated, no menu , no can I get you something to drink. We asked for menus which we were handed and with in two seconds and I am not even joking never in my life have I heard this. What do you want. I said we can leave if you are to busy. She said.. no just get your food and get out. So we left. Never in my life have I seen a business want less business than this. We drove down the road and went to another restaurant that was great. So while I can't comment on the food I can comment on the service.

Our meal was great but the customer service was not. You can tell they aren't very friendly to outsiders. I heard great things about this historic place and was excited to visit. That was our first and last time there.

The Bible burger is the best!! The workers are so sweet and friendly to everyone. Such a cool and neat place!

Shakes so thick you can flip your cup upside down and not lose a drop! Ms. Peggy is a doll and will probably remember your order the next time you drop in. She's been serving Bible burgers for over 30 years :-)

Went in for a soda from the soda fountain that a lot of reviews rave about. I asked for a soda from the soda fountain, and we got a fountain drink from a machine you could find anywhere. Why would I pay $2.47 for a coke I can get for $1 at McDonald’s? I was expecting the “old fashioned” way with syrup and soda water. Either it’s false advertising or they didn’t care enough to make one the old fashioned way. Maybe clarify with your customers if you have two different ways of making soda. Either way, I won’t be back.

Good is not the word! The food is amazing. Definitely recommend!

My husband and I stopped in for lunch at Tinsley-Bible Drug Store and we absolutely loved it and had an excellent experience!! Everyone was nice and the burger was honestly one of the best I've ever had out!! Would go back again!!

We stopped for lunch. A burger, hotdog, 2 chocolate malts and a Hi-C, $28.50. Didn’t know it would be that much as the prices are not posted. It was very good though.

We were in the area to spot some elk but didn't have any luck but we did happen upon this little gem of a roadside historical attraction. The kids loved playing in the creek and flume waterfall. They might have even learned something inside the mill. I know I did! On the way out a group of elk were wading across the stream. A nice bonus to the umplanned stop.

Beautiful area!! Neat little set up of how the mill worked and there was a Ranger sitting there that was very unsociable and never once offered to explain anything our 2 grandsons. Very rude, didn’t even respond when we told him bye & have a nice day!! There was a group before us and he was explain to them so not sure what his issue was. We were going to walk the trail but it was closed due to the firing range being used.

Its good to see how ingenius the people before us by using nature to work for them by harnessing the power of water! This system lived on for so long up until now this mill still runs like an oiled machine!

Very nice place to stop and enjoy an old mill that desperately needs a proper renovation. You cannot enter the Mill at this time. According to the park ranger when I visited, it is the issue of getting large old growth Chestnut to replace the rotting support beams.

Scenic landscape and very nice atmosphere around this well preserved and kept water mill. Well worth a half-hour stop along the Smokey Mountains route.

This visitor center is among the best I've ever visited. There's a terrific museum here, showcasing old farm buildings. We were lucky enough to visit when the blacksmith shop was being worked, and our girls got to take home a square nail forged by the ranger. Another treat came in the way of several elk appearing at the visitor center in the afternoon; we got to see two calves, 6 cows, and a bull! What an amazing experience that was! Highly recommended!

This visitor center is the main visitor center for the south side of the park. The interior is fun and filled with souvenirs that kids and families will love. There's a small wooden township just next to it that shows what life was like back in the 1800s. This area is also hugely popular for elk viewing. Just be sure to give them plenty of space.

The first visitor center you will come across on the North Carolina side of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. In the early morning, expect to be greeted by the Elk herd. At this time of the year in late July, there were many does with their calves. The visitor center is close to the Cherokee entrance that also is the end of the Blue Ridge Parkway. At the visitor center, there are many helpful faces. They are able to answer questions about the park and give ideas and insight on how to maximize your experience at the most visited national park in the system. They do have parking machines near the parking lot. For the daily parking, it is $5. The ticket is tied to your automobile license plate.

We love visiting the Oconaluftee Visitor Center and Farm Museum. We enjoy the self guided tour around the old farm the most. They still have chickens running around free range, but haven’t had any hogs there for a long time. I like to read all the plaques every time I go and it never gets old. There are many places to site beside the Oconaluftee River. The sound of the water rushing by is so peaceful.

Absolutely lovely! The volunteers are so sweet here. The park itself is enchanting.The Smoky Mountain National Park has $5 parking passes and free admission... You can get them here, along with maps and stuff.THERE ARE ELK, and they're lovely.

I love this visitor center. We have been a few times. There is a trail there that is one of the only 2 trails in the GSMNP where dogs can go. We used to take our pup there (RIP Lucy), but now we go to see the Elk and walk the trail. Our cat loved it too.

Located in Smoky Mountain national Park Cherokee North Carolina this is a great place to go view elk. It all sounds trails along the river. A cool little settlers village that you can visit. Also if you're all hot tired sweaty and dirty you can take a dip in the River and is very invigorating. Bathrooms and vending machines located here as well. Going to The visitor center proper for some cool swag.

More than just a visitors center. This little stop had a miniature museum filled with information about pioneer living in the Smokey Mountains, a gift shop, a pioneer farm grounds to walk, and, if you're lucky, real wild Elk. This is my 3rd visit to this location since 1977. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. It was a nice break from all the driving.

We just went driving through the smokies traffic was a little backed up due to the fact that some elk were out. We saw 7 it was really cool to be able to capture pics of them . We also walked around the structures they had an apple barn a hog pen and old barn. If your ever in the area you should stop and take a walk around we were also able to see part of the river running behind the property. Pictures don’t do justice

Very nice to place to stop, after driving through the mountain. There are several elk in the area. A beautiful creek runs around the visitor center. Check the visitor center for road conditions and potential closure times, while there. They have a gift shop.

Great selection of souvenirs within, decent prices though we did spend a lot all together. Staff at the visitor center were friendly until we declined to purchase a national park pass, then became excessively rude. Very beautiful visitors center with plenty to do around.

My husband and I love this place! It is a must see to view Elk just roaming around. Sometimes you have to walk a good bit to find them but other times they are all just in the front yard area or on the sides of the roads. We put in like 4 miles or more in 2 days and found tons of them!

Absolutely loved the Ranger led programs! Ranger Smith is a craftsman who shared his broom making skill and totally impressed me! I would take a class with him in a NY minute! Ranger Parker was a knowledgeable and friendly guide on our hike and we were sorry we missed his black smithing demo. They helped make our trip to the Smokies enjoyable!

Went to this visitor center while visiting Great Smoky Mountains National Park in fall 2020.There is a big parking lot in front of the visitor center. There are restrooms too. There is a museum too. This is the visitor center near Blue ridge parkway. This one is in far better condition than the Sugarland one. While going there, we saw a group of elk roaming around.

The village looked great for learning about life long ago. But we couldn't go through the exhibit because our dog was with us. Dogs are allowed on the path but not in the exhibit. So we walked along a great path that went beside the little village and then down to the Oconaluftee River.Beautiful river walk! We went by a bull elk and his herd of cows hidden in a thicket along the path very quietly, mindful of the ranger's warning to keep our distance and that they were dangerous if disturbed or up walkin around. We were 20-25 yards away.We didn't go all the way to the end of the path to the waterfall because of time commitments elsewhere, but we would have loved to spend more time there. We will go back.

The Oconaluftee Visitors Center is a great place to stop. Several comprehensive displays of mountain life are on display. The park rangers are super friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area. They also have several very clean rest rooms and a very nice gift shop.

Visiting center had great great views of park area. We were able to capture pictures of Elk grassing in open fields. There is a long path goes all the way around the park area and along a river. Beautiful sites to take in. Visitors center is clean and well kept. Old homestead buildings to check out and visit. Dog friendly place. Love to go back there. The Elk are everywhere around this place.

It is the gateway to one of the most magnificent and well kept national parks in the USA (Smoky Mountains National Park). If you go between September and early December, you will see elks roaming nearby. Inside the center you will find help if you want to know more about the park and its trails. There is a small store were you can buy many little things including preserves from the area (highly recommended). Restrooms are always clean. You can even walk by the river and enjoy the surrounding nature.

The visitor center was closed when we were there. It does look new and modern. There's plenty of historical buildings behind the visitor center that are very interesting to see. The log home has some of the largest cut logs I've ever seen on a home of that era. Also, a beautiful creek to hang out at. Elk are in the area and were in fields by the visitor center the evening we were there.

Out of the three visitors centers we went to during our trip to GSM National Park in late March, Oconaluftee was my favorite, mainly because it was the least crowded! This is surely because of the distance from the more popular sites in the area, but its definitely worth the drive (which is absolutely beautiful, with a ton of great pull-off areas for photos)!! There was plenty of parking, which was a huge relief after having to loop the other VC parking lots a few dozen times waiting for parking spots to open up. The elk that freely roam the field behind the visitors center were very cool, and we had fun watching a whole herd of them stroll along the road like they owned it 😀 There is a beautiful trail along the river that was somewhat stroller friendly and very low level of difficulty. I highly recommend stopping here when visiting the Smoky mountains!

Beautifully kept. Bathrooms are clean. The entire area is clean. There is a dirt walkway to take your fur baby on and go along the river. Elk came down later, more towards evening.

This is a nice place to visit and see the Elk! We came during spring break and the herd was not all out in the fields yet. We enjoyed seeing them and enjoyed walking down by the river! Make sure you pay for your parking permit and please respect the wildlife!

Absolutely loved this place, parking was a bit difficult but other than that we loved it. we stopped over by the blacksmith cabin and they answered all my kids questions and showed them how it all worked. We will definitely visit again

Beautiful place! Great visitor's center with lovely porch, walking path, and public restrooms! We saw a small herd of elk in the evening!! Perfect!!

The staff was kind, and had some historical artifacts inside as well. The mountain farm was pretty cool, it's a nice walk out back and is next to the river. If you're lucky, you'll get to see the elk.The only bummer we had was the gift shop was closed for 2 days in a row for restocking of inventory.

Great fun but can get messy. Loved being so close to the animals. All look well taken care of. Very friendly staff. Melody was so sweet with her pet rat. We had great conversations before and after with her. Must see the white Buffalo. Will visit again!

Nicest staff you can find. Extremely family friendly, with nice bathrooms and lots of stuff for the kids. Very fun for adults as well, this was our second time and I’m not sure who had more fun, me or my kids.

This place is awesome! The Buffalo/Bison are so cool! They're my favorite! My 3 year old grandson freaked out when the Buffalo stuck his HUGE head into the car window. It was so funny!!!! They are so gentle to be such big animals. They're tongues are as long as my arm almost. LoL

My husband & I always look for drive thru animal parks when we travel. This was by far 1 of our favorites! All of the animals were friendly & came right to our car. Everyone would eat food from your hands- Llama, zebra, Buffalo, deer, elk, emu, ostrich, etc. The park was a nice long drive but husband & I had so much fun we had to drive through a 2nd time! Wish we lived closer to the area - we would be here all the time!! Added bonus the manager had the cutest monkey that socialed & played with us too. Overall amazing experience

This is a must visit don't wait. Kids or no kids this was awesome. Took our grandkids and I think we had more fun then them. Just driving through the park and feeding the animals, seeing them in an open environment not in cages. The owners of this place have done a remarkable job with the grounds and maintaining the roads through the park and the animals didn't look sick or dirty. They are well taken care of and it shows. Definitely go if you haven't it's worth it

We love this place. I have brought my grandson for three years for his birthday. He loves it and so do we. We get to take our time and enjoy the animals.

It was pretty awesome getting so close to buffalo and all the other animals. Being able to touch them was over the top! Everything seemed to be well kept up. The only thing that bothered me was that they had no grass. They had either trampled it all down or eaten it all and there was just dirt as far as I could see. I like to think they get to graze in grassy fields sometimes. But I don't know if they do or not. The man who drove the wagon we were in was very nice and knowledgeable.

Fun place! My daughter loved it and so did I! We did the wagon ride and our guide/driver was great! I think his name was JP or something like that and he was very nice and informative about all of the animals. My favorites were definitely the Capybara and Manny the Camel. We loved the Capybara because it reminded us of the one named chispi in the movie, Encanto. They crack me up. They're the cutest! It was a lot of fun feeding all of the animals and they were all very gentle. 10/10 recommend!

Briarwood Ranch Safari Park is a MUST DO if you're in Eastern Tennessee!! The owners are super-nice and down to earth, and the animals are so fun!! Hold on tight to that bucket - there are some bucket thieves in the animal kingdom!! We had a great time with 3 buckets of feed - worth every penny!!

This place was a TON of fun! We went with our one year old, and she sat on my lap as we fed the animals. All the animals were super sweet, and the employee at the front desk was really helpful. It wasn’t busy, and we had an absolute blast. My daughter loved the petting zoo after as well.

We had such a good time celebrating my niece's birthday! We rode the wagon and fed the animals. The driver Mike was great. He was very helpful with facts about the various animals and was very pleasant. The white buffalo and pigs were out favorites! We will definitely visit again!

We really enjoyed this facility. Staff was friendly and helpful. The animals were friendly and abundant. Very clean of waste, too. Great for kids, my 2 year old grandson loved it. Buy extra feed, the animals are aggressively friendly.

Awesome place to go have fun with the family and get close to animals. If you’re an animal lover definitely recommend buying three buckets of food because you will go through a quick. The trail is awesome and it’s worth the money for the amount of time that you spend there.

A beautiful little jewel not far from the mountains. The animals are happy and healthy. Feeding them is so much fun! I love being able to get up close and personal!

We had a great time. Beautiful day with the animals. The zebras 🦓 were my favorite and the 🦬 bisons were so cool and very large. Watch it, they love to put their heads in the window. It can be my surprise!! Being able to pet and feed the animals is a real pleasure.

We had an absolutely amazing time here! We loved seeing and interacting with all of the wide range of animals they have here! The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about their animals. It was a fair price for the wonderful experience. This is definitely worth a visit and we will be back again! :)

Came by this hidden spot on the way to our vacation. Chose the drive through option for 2 adults. So many animals and could go as many times until they close. **though they close at 4, you couldn't re enter at 3:30 so they should specify the last entry time** it took about an hour to go through, but we didn't know what to expect so we had 2 full buckets of feed leftover that we didn't get to use. Animals walking all over outside of the grounds as well.I would suggest checking what you're being charged, as we were charged extra at first- but this park 100% made it right and refunded our extra charge (THAT is what I call great customer service)

A most wonderful experience. Very exciting and a little intimidating to be so close to such wonderfully huge Bison. They are soo sweet. Will definitely be going back. ❤️

Very fun, especially for kids. For two adults, one kid, and the 3 for $10 buckets we spent a little over $70. You can drive through multiple times and there's more animals out front to see and experience. We had a lot of fun.

Briarwood Ranch Safari Park was a great experience! The entire family loved it. The animals love being fed, definitely buy the buckets of food to feed them.
